I don't mind the slice of life in episodes, but not whole episodes that don't contribute to the plot. I don't even care about the fighting either. I just hope we can hurry up and get to the point. I't's bad enough we're already stuck retelling the movies. I just think they should wait til later on to make these kinds of episodes, we don't even know how well the series will do yet. I do realize character development is important, but there are other ways. But after some time into the series I definitely won't mind slice of life episodes. Although, I think they should at least be about the supporting cast since we already know the main story will be mostly Goku and Vegeta. Would be nice to see the rest of the cast doing something at least instead of getting squashed.

So the second episode isn't focused entirely on Vegeta's family? Kinda disappointing, but it will probably help keep a good pace to the show by showing some Goku training.

I would love to see that, but I doubt that would happen. They're probably only going to focus on just the two "popular" families for two or so episodes.

Oh man! I'm really excited for this episode! But I can't help but have this little nagging feeling that it will not live up to the high expectations we have set for it. XD

Yeah, I want crazy fight scenes and I want to get to the stage where we're watching Goku + Vegeta in their new God forms tearing shit apart in different universes... but this is what I'm really looking forward to. Interactions between the characters - especially with Vegeta and his family and Goku with Goten.

I second this SO much. I'm so grateful that Toriyama is involved, or else we wouldn't get gems like these.

I have a feeling that Vegeta's family resort trip isn't going to go as planned. In that pic of Vegeta with his blue shirt, imagine he is gazing upon the rubble that was once the resort. Beerus destroyed it before they even got there because they didn't have any more ice cream at the tiki bar.
