That picture was posted earlier, we know there will be some kind of Super related announcement, but we don't know that it will be a simulcast, it could just be an announcement that they will be releasing it, and that we'll see it this fall.

Is Anime Expo going on right now? When is Funi's panel supposed to take place? Anyone know?

All he has to do, is shout real much, when he wants out.
Really? I though you could only use RoSaT two times in a lifetime
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

That's what I heard. Though it may be a dub only line.

Yes, the door will disappear, if you stay there for more than the allotted 2 days, but as I said, if Goku is stronger than Gohan from the get-go in this series, all he has to do is scream his way out, you know like Super Buu and Super Gotenks did back in the Buu Arc.
-About Super guide-
Its stupid how they are reusing BOG character design sheets, released a Super Guide and still didn't bother to fix Trunks blue hair...
In other hand, that Toyble comic is great.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

I thought they were on LA time? It should only be about 2:30 there.

If it ends at 5:30 then yah we should get the news in 3 hours. If they don't have a simulcast I have a feeling Toei is going to get ragged on real hard.
Lol I came on here to see if there will be any legal way to watch Super as soon as possible (although I think I'll be at work every week it airs unfortunately). This looks like a good sign.
Chuquita wrote:I think that they mentioned Dragon Ball in the panel summary in a good indicator that they've got the simulcast rights.
If they don't get it in time, I'm willing to bet Toei's to blame.
Who else's fault would it be BUT Toei? lol. Funimation would be crazy not to try to get simulcast rights for DBS. The only reason they may not, is if Toei says no. I suppose it could be Funimations fault if they didn't want it, but that is a lot of lost money if they did that.
