If they don't I hope it's not because they're waiting for Toonami to air it cause if that's the case we'll have to wait till 2017 at least for it to be on home video.

Which, in my opinion, would be absolutely ridiculous. It's not new content. It's not Suoer. It's Kai. Basically DBZ recut. Just announce it, release it and move on with Super.

They just announced they're last thing which isn't Kai so it looks like it'll be out in 2016.

It's just a meeting with the cast,if they were going to announce it they would've by now but it seems that we might have to wait for Toonami to air it which won't be till 2017.

Well, Kai in the US is dead. It's gone the way of Ocean Kai. The ship has sailed. I mean, the series has already ended in Japan and all the focus is on the new series now. Kind of shame that we won't get to see this, either. It's ironic that this series that was quite possibly even partially commissioned by Funimation seems to have been shelved.

In all fairness, that would have been true even if FUNimation had announced the release of the Buu arc of Kai. Super is, and always has been, the much bigger news story.

I still think we'll see FUNimation's dub at some point. The Ocean dub, though, that dub may never go beyond its current resting place (a hard drive somewhere in Vancouver). At least not until a Canadian TV network expresses interest, and it's hard to imagine that happening now with Super coming out. For that matter, I can't imagine there's much incentive for any country that hasn't dubbed Kai yet to dub it now. Not when it's essentially a retold story, and not when we have a new story coming out.

This is beyond ridiculous now, I don't think we will see it this year. They have really failed to deliver this time, and I would like to know what the hold up is.

First Kai Buu Blu-ray box in Japan was out in September 14 isn't it pretty natural to wait this long?

I'm actually starting to question if they will have a announcment. Maybe they think that Kai isn't that important and they will just release it in a few months. One can hope though.

I'm assuming you mean "here" as in at the event. Regardless, someone/ anyone ask about both but preferably ask about Kai's release over anything else. They are all important but this needs to be out and done with. Keep things in friggin order.

I doubt they're going to give a real answer, but I'm curious to hear about what they would say about Kai if somebody asked now. I mean, it's actually ended in Japan for crying out loud.

I am so fed up now. They really are dragging this out, and seeing as though France already has a home video release, and will see it's final set out before the end of the year, it's absolutely ridiculous FUNi haven't released a single episode.

FUNi are gonna release Kai 2.0 in 2017. I've just accepted this now.
