My attempt at translation (hopefully someone can do a better job in a bit):
2: Going to the promised resort! Vegeta on a Family Vacation!?
3: Where is the dreamed of [thing]?! Looking for Super Saiyan God! (sorry, beyond my translation abilities)
4: Mission: Dragonballs! Pilaf Gang's Big Plan!
5: Battle in King Kai's Planet! Goku vs. God of Destruction Beerus!

Weekly Shonen Jump?

My guess is that the first Beerus vs. Goku fight happens on Kaiou's planet like in BoG, though, since that is where Goku is training. These three episodes seem to be retelling the establishing shots of BoG -- Beerus discussing SSG with Whiz, the side plot with the Pilaf Gang, and then Goku meeting Beerus for the first time.

I think the Pilaf shenenigans will be about them acquiring the DBs and wishing for youth. I doubt they're gonna re-do the party, it would get boring fast.

It's just occured to me that since Super is starting not long after the wish to erase people's memories of Boo, the dragon balls will still be stone for about a year. So it would seem to me that they're going to find out how to do the SSJ God ritual some other way.

Edit: Or I guess they are active if the Pilaf gang is out hunting for them again.

Either way, it'll still be longer than the movie. BOG is only 5 eps long.

BOG arc may take very long. ROF home-video sales would suffer if Super covered ROF arc too fast. Expecting at least 26 episodes before anything moves past-ROF to Universe 6

Seems like the retelling of BoGs isn't going to be drastically different from the movie. I'm happy about that. It also seems like that scene from chapter 1 with Beerus may happen in episode 3 seeing as that's the episode he remembers the SSJG.

But you're right, if it does end up being double the length of the movie it won't be that bad. I just don't believe they are going to spend more than 20 episodes on the BoG and RoF arcs.

I don't see how they can drag a fight between Beerus and SSJ3 Goku out. The gap is far too enormous. Unless they just have Goku constantly attacking and Beerus constantly evading without ever attacking (which lets be honest would be a horrific episode) then the fight should be over quickly.

What I do hope is that they deliver on the promised Vegeta reaction faces that resurfaced in the Super Start Guide that were originally in the BOG guide and never got used in BOG.

That's highly unlikely (especially after what he did in the first episode) considering you might as well create a different character altogether if you were going to change everything about him.

Even if 100% of the fight footage was reused (highly unlikely! I don't think that battle is 20 minutes in the movie), there would still likely be a B-plot that would need footage, and thus staff.

That has nothing to do with it, they have no staff announced yet because that episode won't air until August 9th. It's like that for every show, as the magazine is printed before they have all the information from the next month available.

Sometimes the later episodes reveal the staff, but no title. Or they only say there will be an episode, but with no information whatsoever.

That's exactly what is going on. I doubt the rematch will occur during Blooma's birthday again, though. Then again, maybe Episode #2 will reveal that Blooma has a birthday coming up? Eh, we'll see.

In the Super Start Guide, there are design images for a giant luxury cruise ship called the "Princess Blooma" (プリンセス・ブルマ号). Part of the description for it mentions that her birthday party will be held there.

There are also snippets of the script for #3 and #4. #3 has Beerus and Whis with the prophet fish talking about SSJ God. #4 has Pilaf trying to steal the Dragon Balls, with a description mentioning the setting as a luxury cruise ship. It all lines up.
