I've posted more stuff in my introduction thread, but none of its as good as that Gohan pic, cause even though I drew that when I was like 13 (now I'm 22) it was from looking and copying a DBZ calander picture, ie even though I drew it I was looking at something and I guess I've always been good at doing that, but I don't like doing it (especialy now) and haven't in years, infact the last time I drew something in that sense was probaly in the late 90's (like 1999) but I guess some of my freehand stuff looks decent.TAS, If that's from 96-97 I'd love to ee what you can do now! Good job!
The Trunks Character design has a Kingdom Hearts feel to it. Big legs and big feet. Just some examples of more recent things...
Trunks (Redux)
This is my version of Trunks drawn very crudely (on notebook paper with a pen before I colored it) and while very similar to the original its also fairly diffrient. Basicly the thought behind it for me was what if Trunks' look was a reflection of his future, ie a more hardned, rough, gritty, etc, look, so the hair is messy (though a modern style) and as I don't like lack of detail I filled in his jacket with various extra lines and what not. Then there's the hoodie, which is zipped down to show off a bit of Trunks' chest, much like his standard tanktop. Then there's a number of other things in the design you can't see (because it's only from the chest up) like various patches on the jacket, knee pads on the pants, etc, etc.

ZeroH
An original character design from like a year or two ago, however the character has since had a name change and minor design changes.
Tetsuya Nomura (who was the Director, Concept Designer, and Character Designer for the KH series) is one of my favoirte artists (note he also did the designs for FFVII series, FFVIII, FFX, and the FFXIII series)The Trunks Character design has a Kingdom Hearts feel to it. I love Nomura as well! I'm so happy I got to see him at the Advent Children premiere! ^_^ *ahem* Anyways... I must say that the "ZeroH" character gives a Saint Seiya-ish vibe. I for whatever reason don't like lack of detail, so with some designs I do, so I end up overloading them with details, and as a result some of my designs end up looking very Nomura like.
Well to me the 06 design I did of him looks too much like Tidus from FFX. I mean if it were colored it probaly wouldn't as the colored one I did on notebook paper doesn't really remind me of anything, aside from the hairstyle, but thats only cause it's a common hairstyle now days in designs and real-life.I love Nomura as well! Tetsuya Nomura is great and all, but he/she is no Yoshitaka Amano. As for QD's submission, you know you're at a time of peace when you can use the almighty dragonballs as ornaments.
