They have proper art for Freeza and Vegeta, seems a bit odd what they did to Goku.Captain Space wrote:Or maybe they just coloured an old picture blue, not realising that a million people on the Internet have already done that.
Here is the Vegeta and Freeza if anyone is curious:

Justin Cook seems to imply that FUNi is at least in talks with Toei over Super, so that's good.
Too bad Dende's pretty much the only character Justin Cook has left in DBZ that would appear again (I suppose it could try for another role one day in Super or another movie).

Cook said that FnF takes place after GT. Besides, that, I really enjoyed the interview. Maybe I've not been paying attention, but you never really see him in interviews. It's usually Schemmel and Sabat. Good to hear another voice.

Well there is probably a reason for that I was watching the premiere for the dub and Cook was being interviewed and then all of a sudden Sabat appeared and then the interviewer went to Sabat and started talking to him and seemingly forgetting about Cook, and Cook stood there smiling and then walked off after he realising the interviewer probably wasn't coming back to him /:Big Momma wrote:Lord Beerus wrote:IGN did an interview with Justin Cook about Resurrection F.

Or they discovered like everyone else that the Sonic recolour artists were actually geniuses with meaningful designs.TheGmGoken wrote:Even Funimation knows that SSGSS is fan artBaggie_Saiyan wrote:Did FUNi just use fan art?

I've thought about that, and I think that he may have actually just been referring to the fact that this film has been produced long after GT ended production.Big Momma wrote:Lord Beerus wrote:IGN did an interview with Justin Cook about Resurrection F.

Yeah, that crossed my mind as well. It's not big deal, either way.Blade wrote:I've thought about that, and I think that he may have actually just been referring to the fact that this film has been produced long after GT ended production.Big Momma wrote:Lord Beerus wrote:IGN did an interview with Justin Cook about Resurrection F.

Cook's interview was good, besides the GT thing he said.

I've just seen the second theatrical trailer FUNimation have releasef for F. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRlSMA1XKYA)
I love just about everything I've seen from the film thus far but this was the first time I sort of went "eugh!". The CG bit near the start is horrible. I remember there was a part in Battle of Gods where Goku and Beerus were charging at each other and the CG was so poorly done and it really stood out and took me out of it, and I was praying there wouldn't be anything like that in F... but it looks like there is. It's so badly done. I'm really surprised that they allow scenes like that to be put into the final product.
The rest of it looks so amazing. That's just my little nitpick that annoys me.

Unfortunately, that's not the last of terrible CG you'll see in the film.
It always annoys me how Funimation doesn't allow other countries to view their videos, I'll have to wait until someone else uploads it to Youtube to watch the trailer :/

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
The movie had more CGI but that could be a result of the movie being in 3D. It still stood out but it looked better than it did in BoG.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
It looked better than BoG's, but it also had more, so it really didn't come out better-looking.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection '
The movie had no more than 30 seconds worth of CGI in about 30 minutes worth of action. It's no big deal considering the scale of the action this time around.

Wait, Piccolo said "Special Beam Cannon"? I thought Kai started using Makankosappo. >.>

Krillin also said Destructo Disk instead of Kienzan in the first trailer. Old habits die hard it seems.fadeddreams5 wrote:Wait, Piccolo said "Special Beam Cannon"? I thought Kai started using Makankosappo. >.>

Guess it's cause this is DBZ and not Kai (even though they're using Kai VAs...).Lord Beerus wrote:Krillin also said Destructo Disk instead of Kienzan in the first trailer.
