New Toriyama manga??
According to the magazine 'NEO' (UK only, I think...), there is going to be a new manga released called 'Blue Dragon ST'. Now, as I'm sure most of you know, Akira Toriyama is the character designer for the upcoming 360 game, Blue Dragon, and this manga is a tie-in with the game.
Does this mean that Toriyama will be the Mangaka of this brand spanking new manga? We hope so.
Anyone else heard anything?

God damnit! Well I guess it'll have to be in style of Toriyama...hmmm..chibi_goten wrote:Shounen Jump will feature a manga based on the upcoming Xbox360 RPG. It is called Blue Dragon ST (Secret Trick) and will be drawn by Shibata Ami. While it is based on the game with designs by Toriyama and a story by Sakaguchi, the manga will not be by Bird Studio or Toriyama.

That's very true. Many manga adaptations of video games or animes often aren't exact copies of the original designs. Though they usually don't diverge too much, they *are* different. So it may be that Obata's designs end up looking nothing like Toriyama's style.Olivier Hague wrote:Not necessarily, no.sintalius wrote:Well I guess it'll have to be in style of Toriyama...
