When does This Happen?

Actually, what made it suck was the actual fighting sucked. Least that's what kills the movie for me. Not to mention that I was utterly annoyed with a 3rd Broly movie with a horrible new look that lasted most of the movie.

The fighting sucked? I seem to remember some quite excellent martial arts sequences, especially when put next to the previous 2 Broli movies.

Yeah, and like Broli was just the prettiest little angel in the world before his clone got covered in Bio-sludge. Would you have liked to see him utterly naked then?

But seriously, the main highlight for the movie for me was the #18/Mr. Satan interaction, Goten and Trunks' hilarious dialogue exchanges about biotechnology and whatnot, and the ending animation bit of Goten and Trunks growing up...infant Goten was just a priceless cute moment.

The only movie I actually...really liked a lot was movie 2. I found the others to be rather...confusing and pointless. I just found this one to be so the most.

Uh, then did you find the entire series to be pointless as well? Why even watch them or talk about them?

The movies are only confusing if you foolishly try to fit them into Canon (with 2 arguable exceptions) or anything similar. What is pointless about a Movie made to entertain fans? Then I guess that disvalidates the entire industry.

The villain wasn't an angry swamp monster who melts in water, was stupid enough before his brains turned to mush, actually has a motive other than "Broli Smash!" and the heroes have more reasons to fight than just...."oh noes, kill the strong bad guy". That and it had that old super hero movie feel...it felt oldschool, and the like...

Uh? Remember...almost all of the other movies? Yeah, same deal going on. A few had slightly more motivation put into them, but generally they are shallow plot-wise. That's not a bad thing, either. They aren't made to be Xenogears.

Quiz: Hmm..Scientists using bio-warriors to unleash on the world, martial arts champion called to fight, Krillin makes an appearance, and a triple kamehameha.. which movie am I talking about: 2 or 11? Rolling Eyes Movie 11 is underrated. I'm no fan of Broli, believe me, but you have to admit it doesn't get the credit it should.

Coincidentally, Movie 2 is also one of my favorites. And I'm no fan of Broli either. In fact, I think he is the single most horrible villain to ever happen to Dragonball Z. But Movie 11 is my least favorite appearance of him because he gives Goten and Trunks time to shine, and they fight AMAZINGLY (and unfused) in that movie. It's really cool if you have the taste for it.

And a war I may have started...hope it's a good one.

Honestly, that's your opinion and I'm not going to argue with it, but don't try and attack MY opinion just because you don't agree with it. Especially when I find what you said to be BLASPHEMY.

I'd rather see Broly naked with DragonBall's U shaped penis' rather than see him covered in sludge that made him look, well.... LAME.

I respect that. Everyone else was just putting their opinion out and I did the same, simply playing off of other peoples statements in order to give myself a standing. None of this really matters all that much, so don't take it personally. My apologies if I come off as a jerk. Sometimes I don't think about how the words I type are going to be read.
