Is Dragon Ball Super 100% canonical?
I just learned that Akira Toriyama is not writing all (of) the episodes; rather, he just sends Toei and Toyotaro a draft of his idea and they use the draft to make the episode in their own way. This is the reason the anime and the manga differ in some aspects of presentation but both have the same idea behind it. Do you consider Dragon Ball Super 100% canonical? I still do as long as it is Toriyama's idea.

There is no "official" canon. You can consider whatever you want canon.

Exactly! It can be whatever the fuck you want it to be. If you think Super is canon because it's Toriyama's idea, that's perfectly fine.DoomieDoomie911 wrote:There is no "official" canon. You can consider whatever you want canon.

You may wish to read this and this thread, along with a wealth of threads over in the "Dragon Ball Super" sub-section that are actively discussing this already. Thanks!
