That reminds me of a thought I had. So we know Demigra can't control Goku or others with god ki, and the Supreme Kai of Time did something to make your character immune to his control too. So did she do something involving god ki? Something to think about for a possible sequel.

I'm still hoping they haven't stopped support for the game. Those Event Quests got me interested and I still want SSJ redone to work like Unlock Potential.

I've finally got around to having a good go at this game.

It's kind of repetitive.

It's the best DBZ game I've played though and I hope they really improve on it for the next game which I'm hoping isn't until 2017. It does have potential to be a good series.

This is pretty close to my thoughts on it, yeah. I really enjoyed it, but there are significant flaws and several things they could greatly improve on for a sequel.

Kinda curious, knowing that you mostly play these games for the Story/Single Player modes, what was your overall toughts of the whole CaC thing and Story Mode and how you think they should improve it, did you at any point try to use the Story Cast in any of the modes or did you stick to ur CaC only? Likewise did you go far into the Paralel Quests or just did the ones that helped you level up and stuff?

Well I'll still not that far into it. I've reached the Android saga so my opinions will likely change but...

I like that they added the CAC, that was something I'd wanted for a while and from what I can see they've done it pretty well. There seems to be a lot of clothes and moves to choose from and 5 races and both genders does give a lot of options. I don't like the whole silent protagonist thing though, it's weird and it kinda limits the story and interactions a bit. In the Saints Row games the main character is a CaC that does talk and you pick one of six or seven voices and that was done well. I'd hope they would do something like that with a sequel even if meant limiting the amount of available voices if it meant being an actual character.

Perhaps they could add an Android race or even a Kaio race in the next one?

Story mode is fun, it's different but you are still mostly fighting the same battles against the same characters in the same order in the end. Now the series has all different universes I think they should set the next game in another universe where everything played out differently (like DBM), maybe Cell is good guy and a Z Fighter here and you help him take on Golden King Cold when he shows up on Earth. Maybe Dabura and Frieza are working together to defeat Beerus. Maybe Babidi makes Goku evil so he's a major villain. They could do anything they wanted. Have more original characters with the main villain being that universes God of Destruction and you're CaC would restore peace to the universe by defeating all obstacles.

If it was also done in a non linear way so you could choose which subplots you wanted to progress through rather than having to do it in a certain order then that would be nice too.

For Parallel Quests I always picked someone else, mainly Goku or Vegeta and I intend to do them all because I wanna try and get the Platinum trophy for the game.

That might make the linear power growth a bit more difficult (like, this doesn't always work out, leading to grinding, but in theory you should be just strong enough to tackle each saga as you enter it).

Yeah that's true that could make it a bit awkward. I'm sure they could make it work though.

You know how in Kingdom Hearts you're presented with 2 or 3 world's and they're assigned a difficulty and then after you complete them all you get the next branch of world's to choose from that are even more difficult? Something like that.

I think it'd be interesting if the game presented itself as their being chaos all across across the Universe that needs to be dealt with and you were given the option of 3 conflicts at a time that you could tackle in whatever order you wanted.

Xenoverse introduced 4 new characters. I don't see why Xenoverse 2 couldn't introduce say 6 more new characters and maybe give new forms to existing characters, why not have a Super Saiyan God Broly?

That'd be interesting, yeah. Like, if you head each saga alongside its corresponding movies, which could be at the same 'threat level'? (Like, movies 1-3 being roughly equivalent to the saiyan arc, 4-6 with the Namek arc, etc.) And then set GT and the new god-stuff as equivalents that branch off at the same time? (Hell, if you do the movie versions and the Super version, you could end up with three choices at that point.)

I wouldn't put it past them, but I think we've already had quite enough--

Yeah, while not a fan of most stuff Heroes has given to us, it would be interesting if they reused all these new forms for story porpuses. No more Broly tho, please.

Yeah something like that. You'd have a prologue then be presented with either tackling the Vegeta, Garlic Jr, Dr Wheelo or Turles conflicts and after you finished them all you'd get the next set.

But I mean to have all completely different, original conflicts because it would be a different universe as we've played through all the series countless times.
I wouldn't put it past them, but I think we've already had quite enough-
Yeah I'm not a huge fan if Broly but as far as the console games go the only different form he's had is SSJ3. If one of the conflicts towards the end of the game involved Broly having become a SSJGod and trying to beat him that could be fun.

It'd be another universe so they could do whatever they thought would be fun and interesting without having to be limited to anything.

@Captain Space
I would so love Dragon Ball Heroes roster in Xenoverse II.
It would probally be DLC, though.

You know, as awkward as the "how to become a ssjg" is, I actually think that it works in favor of preventing Brolli from getting a hold of it (and blueper).
-Brolli's not "pure of heart"
-Brolli doesn't have 5 saiyajin friends
-Brolli post-Movie-8 seems to lack the ability to hold a conversation beyond yelling "Kakarrotto", making me think he no longer has the needed intelligence to hold onto that ssjg power and absorb it.

The whole thing feels like it was designed to keep Heroes from over-using/abusing ssjg and blueper saiyan the way they have ssj3. OR it's just a happy coincidence.

Sadly, game logic doesn't equal everything else. Broli was smart enough, in the game universe (not the promotional CMs and stuff), to retain his reason in his Ozaru state and change into a Super Saiyan 4. Pretty sure if they really want Broli to have these forms, they'll just ignore everything else and give it to him. :/

Problem is they already ignore prerequisites. One Heroes trailer has GT Vegeta seeing Bulma injured and that apparently just causes him to 'snap' into SSJ4. Completely ignoring the normal requirements for the form.

And I think the first appearance of SSJ4 Broly has Black Smoke Shenron just give him the form, again, bypassing the normal requirements.

If they want someone to go SSJG or Super Cyan in Heroes, they'll just power up into it, little to no explanation offered.
