Yeah, it's meant to be a pretty small amount, like asking for, I dunno, a hundred/thousand pounds/dollars or something (which isn't exactly nothing, but when you can have anything...). It's a follow-up to a similar joke in BoG when they're threatening Trunks and holding a Dragon Ball to ransom and first say a pretty small ransom, then increase it (IIRC).Blade wrote:On the subject of the wish for Zeni:
Firstly, surely 1 Million Zeni isn't a lot of money? From Dragonball Super, we know that Satan gave Goku 100 Million Zeni, which according to the (admittedly somewhat outdated) information we know from Toriyama about how that would translate into real money, then surely 1% of that is practically worthless.
Is this just part of the gag? I mean, the wad of notes is pretty small - so either it's practically worthless and Zeni is an incredibly hyper-inflated currency, or it's comprised out of banknotes that hold a fairly huge numerical value.

Were the people of East City as well as the city itself ever brought back after Freeza Death Beamed it?

If Dragon Ball ever fades into obscurity in the US, the Latin American fanbase will definitely keep it alive.

Also, it's the Northern Capital, not the eastern one. The latter was only used once by mistake in Toyotaro's adaptation.dbgtFO wrote:At the end of the movie, Bulma says she'll bring it back.kidhero1000 wrote:Were the people of East City as well as the city itself ever brought back after Freeza Death Beamed it?

Is it safe to assume the Galactic Frieza Army is pretty much defunct by the end of this movie?

When Freeza offers Vegeta the supreme command of the army he says the only one in it is Sorbet .Then Vegeta kills Sorbet. So that'd be that.kidhero1000 wrote:Is it safe to assume the Galactic Freeza Army is pretty much defunct by the end of this movie?

Those are clearly different continuities; with the game's scenarios being written well before the film's. Even if Dragon Ball Online were still operational today though, they wouldn't have the rights to the new films (without renegotiating). So the two events aren't meant to be compatible (not that Toriyama would care anyway, just like with the destruction of planet Vegeta issue).kidhero1000 wrote:And yet the GFA decided to invade Earth once more by the time of DBO.Babbu wrote:When Freeza offers Vegeta the supreme command of the army he says the only one in it is Sorbet .Then Vegeta kills Sorbet. As of Resurrection F, in that continuity, Freeza's organization is officially out of commission from the information provided. Super could change things though...

The Battle of Gods dub trailer released by IGN has 1 million views.
The Resurrection F dub trailer released by IGN has 1.9 million views in 3 weeks.
There's been far more awareness and interest in this movie compared to the last one.

Just saw the movie in English and will be getting the blu-ray (english dub) in a few days. The voice acting was very well done and the whole movie was entertaining and action packed. The experience was not as good as Battle of Gods, but still very fun to watch nonetheless.
