Who tortured Piccolo?

Post by Jerseymilk » Fri Apr 16, 2004 7:31 pm

Mochi wanted me to put this question up on the forum for fun. In the song where Piccolo hears Gohan's tune being whistled and eventually goes insane, who do you think is the one doing it? I don't think it's Gohan, because surely Gohan would stop if he heard Piccolo pleading the way he did. So does anyone have any interesting theories on who it could be? :)

Gohan made Piccolo annoyed. He hates high pitched sounds. Plus, he was trying to concentrate on something or meditating, and you need some quiet for that. So of course it had to be Gohan.

Maybe it was Kami trying to mess with him?

But the noise would also hurt Kami, too.

Perhaps it was Kuririn being a bit of a bastard?

Not necessarily; he's much older than Piccolo, he may be partially deaf.

Hehehe... It's obviously Gohan, though. You know how these things work... It's not actually happening, so Gohan wouldn't actually hear him. It's like another separate... level of dialogue... or... something.

If you really want to make it work that way, we could put Piccolo really far away where he could hear Gohan without Gohan hearing him. You know, those crazy Namekian ears.

That does make good sense Zacko. But poor Gohan! Harming Piccolo without even knowing it!

Ha ha ha. Does anyone else even know the tune Gohan whistles? I don't think anyone else knows it. I could be wrong though. Ah, now I'm going to start to confuse myself for now reason. :?

It's "Kuchibue no Kimochi" and if you've seen movie #4, then you know the tune.

Thanks for the song title, but I think you misunderstood my question. I meant in the movie, does someone besides Gohan know the tune? Sorry for not being more clear.

Ahhhh. Stupid me! Um, no, I don't think so. Other then Haiya Dragon, but I really am quite sure he can't whistle.

Um, know I don't think so.
BAD GRAMMAR! BAN!

Wouldn't it be funny if the tune got stuck in Piccolo's head and he unintentionally started whistling it causing himself to be incapacitated by the pain?

Why would you ever want to wish such pain on Piccolo!?

Actually, it would be pretty funny. I can imagine it now...

Isn't it more bad syntax than bad grammar? Or just bad spelling?

Sorry guys I was doing two different things when I wrote that! :P Same sort of thing as Liam the other night with posting in the wrong thread. Thank-you for the defense Liam, never thought I'd see you defend someone about grammar. :P

Is it a fear-based worshipping? :D
