Should this thread be closed ?, as disscusions not related to this topic are being posted.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

No it wasn't. He didn't even know what a bullet was.ssjjanemba wrote:But his guard was up

He also got shot in the face with a Sniper Rifle and with a missile in the Red Ribbon arc.
His body is naturally tough. By the time he became a Super Saiyan he was tough enough to likely survive Planet Namek exploding on him and that was a bigger planet than Earth.
As a Super Saiyan God he can take blows from Beerus and keep fighting while that same person who can destroy half a planet with a tap.
He isn't Superman tough though.

One could say that both Goku and Superman are no more or less tough than the plot demands they be.

No proof of that.Bullza wrote:He also got shot in the face with a Sniper Rifle and with a missile in the Red Ribbon arc.

No, but Freeza did survive that—while already heavily injured—and Goku is supposed to be stronger than him.

Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
Freeza survived that with a mangled body and very low Ki. It's illogical to think someone much stronger than him wouldn't be able to take the same force, especially at full health and power. What would kill Goku in that situation is the lack of oxygen, nothing else. Even in the Namek saga, Freeza stated that Goku wouldn't be able to survive in space, not that the explosion would definitely kill him.miguelnuva1 wrote:

Requiring proof of that is that requiring proof that Freeza could beat Roshi. While there's no direct comparison, by virtue of indirect comparison and scaling there's no other conclusion.
Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
Not too mention Trunks vs Goku sword fight proved that Goku's finger is more durable than mecha Freeza who is above a chopped in half left for dead Freeza who survived the planet exploding
Don't see why Goku can't survive a planet exploding the lack of air is the only problem saying he can't is saying he's less durable than a chopped in half Freeza

Really? What outliers can you think of off the top of your head for Goku? I can think of more than 10 for superman and that's with a pretty limited knowledge of the character.Polyphase Avatron wrote:One could say that both Goku and Superman are no more or less tough than the plot demands they be.
The only PIS power I can think of for goku is his mind reading ability...

DBZ fanboys always like to downplay superheroes for getting hurt by smaller things when DB characters get hurt by ki blast that do very little to no damage to the Planet. Yeah there's ki control, but I don't think ki control can be use as a excuse for everything though.

Every fanboys does that shit not just dbz fanboys comic fanboys always bring up that 40 ton crap multiple times besides fanboys from either comics, anime, ,video games will always try to downplay feat from other characters which in reality not every characters in fiction are gonna be consistent with their feats.Hellspawn28 wrote:DBZ fanboys always like to downplay superheroes for getting hurt by smaller things when DB characters get hurt by ki blast that do very little to no damage to the Planet. Hasn't the fandom argues for years Frieza was more durable physicallythan Goku. If 16's b9mb, semi cell's explosion, Buu's attack and even lava cannhurt Goku then the heat of the planet wiuld kill him.rereboy wrote:Freeza survived that with a mangled body and very low Ki. No cause freeza survived one while cut in half than later sliced up by trunks who in turned use the sword on goku and didn't even cut him.miguelnuva1 wrote:Hasn't the fandom argues for years Freeza was more durable physicallythan Goku. Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
Your argument is that Freeza is so much more durable physically than Goku that Freeza, with half his body missing and practically no Ki left, can tank what Goku, at full power and health, can't? If that was the case, Freeza would never lose to Goku.miguelnuva1 wrote:

Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
Plus a few times Frieza referred to the fact that Goku being unable to breathe in Space was what would finish him off. If the explosion itself was enough to kill Goku then there'd be no point in even bringing that up.Puto wrote:No, but Freeza did survive that—while already heavily injured—and Goku is supposed to be stronger than him.

Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
My argument is that Goku couldn't survive the heat of the explosion, also Frieza with no ki> Goku no ki. Goku's ki allows him to beat Frieza unless you think Goku can be chopped in half and survive an explosion.rereboy wrote:Your argument is that Freeza is so much more durable physically than Goku that Freeza, with half his body missing and practically no Ki left, can tank what Goku, at full power and health, can't? Why do you assume he wouldn't survive the heat of the explosion?
