When I opened this topic, I honestly didn't expect that a cast list of the Big Green dub actors had been completed! AMAZING.
The part about rythmo bands and all that is really interesting too. I had been looking for information about it not so long ago, and I hadn't been able to find much.
In many other countries, actors just use timecodes (sometimes aided by little notes or symbols written into the script) to improve lip sync.

I literally stopped paying attention at this point. You've dubbed in Doraemon. Holy, to quote my geographical neighbour Quebaz, cow.
I totally understand -and share- his reaction. Doraemon may be relatively unknown in the English-speaking world, but it's been one of the most successful animes in Spain for over 20 years, and it's about 40% of my childhood TV memories

I wish Latin America was as passionate as Spain is when it comes to Doraemon. Paraguay loves it but its not as loved as it is in Spain.

Also, lets not call Code Lyoko anime. This is particular gets on my nerves because not only does Code Lyoko lack the anime aesthetic but just isnt Japanese. The only thing that is Japanese about it is that it has a Japanese Girl in the main cast and the small eyes (Which makes me really uncorfotable when people call it anime)

Dont get me wrong, its a great show, I love it.

Then let's call Code Lyoko a dessin animé. That's what an animated cartoon is called in French. :p

Wow! That sounds cool!

...I expected the retort of "Every animated production is called anime in Japan"

That too. Haha. I just find it silly that only Japanese cartoons get their own specific names. And sometimes it doesn't even refer to just cartoons from Japan; Sometimes it'll just be a specific style. Like how people call Code Lyoko and Avatar 'anime'.

Well, I just knowed the actors' names, and they were few(Paul Bandey is the "Old Bastard" who did probably 1/4 or 1/3 of the characters) so it was easy to do the list.

thanks for making this thread SaintEvolution! Big Green's cast has always been my greatest curiocity!
Paul Bandey and the rest has so much potential, in a more professional dub they would really shine! Turles was amazing from Paul!
I hope they;ll be in more dubs one day but i doubt it :(

Turns out that about half of the roles attributed to Paul Bandey were actually done by a guy named Ed Marcus. Who knew?http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/for ... 14&page=19

thanks for the update! Big Green's budget seems higher with each update :)
and ugh, i wish i didn't read the last two pages of that thread, their community is almost basically TFS fanboys but instead of praising Tfs with lame jokes they bash Big Green with lame jokes
somebody needs to tell them to cut it out, seriously. i dont think they would like it very much if i called their favorite actors out of their names.
