Just a note ANY DRAGONBALL STORY STUFF DOES NOT APPLY THERE the characters still have their techinques and themselves but the dragonball story does not apply there.

I've just seen it along side a translation for the first five pages.

I've got to admit upon seeing the title page I was dissapointed that Gohan wasn't in there, but that's just me being a Gohan fanboy, so nevermind that. Overall I though it was awesome; I absolutely loved Vegeta's look, rocking the eye-patch on the right eye like Big Boss from Metal Gear, while Bulma and Nami are just made for each other, as are Piccolo and Zoro. Trunks' appearance was wierd though; he had the vibe of Chibi Trunks, but I get the feeling Toriyama had Mirai Trunks in mind with the sword he's carrying

All in all, it was great, and quite frankly I want more!

Now that I think about it, there has to be a tankobon release of this, or atleast something with the color pages in tact. They look amazing, even without color.

Wasn't this not releasing until X-Mas Day?

Anyway, I liked it a lot, Vegeta looked so awesome...but uh, I agree that Trunks appearance was odd. It was kinda random & Toriyama was defintley going for a Future Trunjs with the sword and all, but he didn't give off Future Trunks vibes, Future is a much more cooler personality. This Trunks was like Trunks in the final chapters of Z. It's hard to say.

Awesome to see Mr. Toriyama hasn't forgotten about my main man, Pilaf!

Sadly, I do not know much Japanese, save the few character names I know, but it looked pretty awesome. I didn't get much of it, but it looks like Mr. Satan had something to do with the ending (not spoiling anything..)

Awesome designs too. Goku looks so young in this one, while Vegeta looks cool with the eyepatch. *Laughs at Piccolo and Zoro's little sword thing*

I must admit, as cool as this is, I am a tad bit disappointed.

I was really hoping that this would involve the actual OP and Dragonball storylines.

And, I thought I heard it was gonna be in colour, but I guess that was a rumor.

I'm wayyy to tired right now to read alongside translations, so I'll just enjoy the artwork, and read the story in the morning.

The last few pages are in color. Look at how everything appears to be shaded compared to the previous pages. It's just that they are in greyscale right now.

Cool, I'll just have to hold off reading it until there's a "scanlation" (I probably managed to mispell a word that doesn't exist). Question: do you guys translate this stuff often? Also, are you using some kind of program or have you been studing the language(characters)?

I did enjoy this quirky li'l alternate universe cross over and, like many others, would love to see it as an animated TV special or OAV or what have you. But I do have one question. Does anybody know what's written on Vegeta's brooch? (And, damn, but does that guy look sexy with an eye patch!)

Silly me, I mean left eye, not right eye, it was late when I originally posted this, so I guess the compairison with Big Boss is out! Oh well, I guess I can still compare him to Solidus Snake and Solid Snake in MGS4 when he's wearking the 'Solid Eye System'.

Erm, there already is a scanlation.

Anyways, I didn't really get it at first with just the translation to read alongside the raw scans. But after I did, I thought it was a cute little crossover. I hope the color pages for the last 3 pages come out soon. The two page spread looks like it could be one of those things you would see as a puzzle or something. I also liked how some of the DBZ charcters kept part of their regular outfit (Piccolo and Vegeta in particular) and had it combined with a One Piece-ey looking outfit.
