I don't have a PAL-compatible TV, and I'm not playing that game without the Japanese music, even if the looping does get irritating.Pedro The Hutt wrote:Why not get the european version? o:VegettoEX wrote:Mutha-fuckin' Appule!
It's just like I was saying in the other thread... there's no way they were developing things exclusively for the European Wii release. It's all about the Japanese Wii release, and since the European one isn't out yet, they're just going ahead and basing it off of the Japanese one.
If a Wii Freeloader disc comes out, I'll actually be retarded and play through the game again on the Wii in Japanese. And you can all hear me whine about it. Again.
Yes, I will pay $70 to play as Appule.

Question: Didn't you once say to me you or Meri were getting the NA Wii release? Now I'm confused.VegettoEX wrote:I don't have a PAL-compatible TV, and I'm not playing that game without the Japanese music, even if the looping does get irritating.

That's interesting...though not completly unexpected. As the original poster said, these models were already in game and finished, so it was a miniscule amount of work. I'm a little dissapointed maybe, but the new characters will make a welcome addition to the Bardock level and Namek saga.
Any bets on who the four remaining fighters will be?

I totally hope Oran is Apple's alternate.
I'm more excited about these characters than I was about the entire game in the first place!

Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
Yeah, I can see what you mean, the American music just has no emotion to it :/ I'd much prefer Budokai music again. At least I like that music.VegettoEX wrote:I don't have a PAL-compatible TV, and I'm not playing that game without the Japanese music, even if the looping does get irritating.Pedro The Hutt wrote:Why not get the european version? o:VegettoEX wrote:Mutha-fuckin' Appule!

That Vegeta stage looks fun, I wonder if they'll change the Bardock story to have some fights up there?

Does anyone know if there's any truth to this character select clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt3eh3mSdac
I really hope it to be true that Toma, Celipa, and Totapo (sp?) are the remaining three.

QFT. Freeloader disc's will save my life one day. I'm already in heaven with the region-free-ness of the DS.VegettoEX wrote:Mutha-fuckin' Appule!

Oh dear, if they are, that really pisses me off at the game developers for jipping us Ps2 purchasers (as well as the NA Wii release). Why do you hope there's truth to it, Chuquita, that would just mean that purchasers of the PAL and JP Wii releases get something we'll probably never get. I want Toma, and not in a perverted way, I wanna kick ass with his ruthless John Burgmeier voiced hands.Chuquita wrote:Does anyone know if there's any truth to this character select clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt3eh3mSdac

I suppose it would be worth noting, we do see Toma's legs with yellow armor in one of the Bardock story cut-scenes, so maybe they had a design planned for him from the get-go as well.

I would be upset of course, as I bought the game for ps2 and don't have a Wii. I do know people who're planning to buy it for PAL so I'm curious to find out just what the new characters are.
I was on a "new characters" high earlier, it hadn't yet sunk in that I would be unable to play as them. '_';;;
Whoa, two new characters, I knew that it would be weird to have to fight 5 Cui, when there was more character modes! When Greatest Hits come out, I can do my Freeza vs Cooler story better!

So that's how it works, huh? Why can't they just take their time making these to save us some time? Is it because it would save us some money too?
I'm content with the US PS2 version for now but earning everything is a bitch and knowing that there is probably going to be more work to do (like a master quest), makes it feel like the current version is busy work..

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

There's also Dende / a little Namekian kid._Jrinu_ wrote:The other four characters will probably be ones that they already have models for as well, so lets think who we saw...
Elder Kaioshin
Babidi
Baba
Karin-sama
Kaiô-sama
Mr. Popo
I think that's about it.
So if we got any of those guys it would certainly be interesting to say the least.

It's the Pilaf robot...
Hey, wait a sec, the Pilaf robot?!
C'mon... is that the best they could do? Couldn't they have put in something more worthwhike than that?
Oh, look, the Pilaf robot. How cool. >.>;
