Each patch has made lag and hit detection increasingly worse in PVP. Unless the patch that finally includes the mode irons out those issues, its gonna be as bad as it has if not even worse. Meaning, nobody is gonna bother even trying to get close and use melee. Instead they will keep their distance and spam ki supers and ults praying the lag will net them a hit.

Meh, not interested. Let me know if they announce more DLC or a sequel. Otherwise, I think I'm done with the game unless I need to go back and take more notes on the story.

Yes, definitely. From what I've played of online versus, my precisely timed hits didn't even hit or missed, or hit with a time constraint.
It was weird and the outcome of battles was mere luck. I've only used SSJ with ultimate attack for one time to not be an ashole, otherwise the win would be mine.
But, in PQ's during team play, the systém works fine. I enjoy PQ with other players, only thing that is retarded in online PQ is that the player landing last hit will (or not, based on RNG) get the stuff.
At least, it should've be that meeting the perequisites, all players in online PQ will get the items. That will make the gameplay much more fun and rewarding.

If they took this long to announce the damn thing, hopefully it's because they've worked on fixing the Hit Detection, It's the only reason I don't touch the game anymore really.

So they're probably still wishing they'd made SSJ work differently, if the final match does indeed turn out like that.

Are you an actual shonen protagonist who stepped out of the screen? XD

It's the sequel to Brave Soldiers yes, includes everything from it along with gameplay inprovements, a redone story mode and the Asgard arc.
Ah, okay, cool. (I would've expected something Soul of Gold-related to be in there, since it's the new thing right now and I'd expect them to capitalise on that, but it could be that this game was in development before they knew enough about Soul of Gold to include it.)

Saint Seiya Soldier Soul got also the 12 Gold Saint with their "God Gold Cloth" from Soul of Gold anime series.

Well the World Tournament has finally opened, but from the looks of it, it's just another ranked mode with a fancy background for the character selection screen. Am I missing something here?

It's ranked match but the only map is the WMAT arena... Basically the map people always pick...
I played 10 matches and won 8 of them. The hit detection is awful and people only spam supers... Yeah, nothing has changed from the normal ranked match other than the pretty new background.

So yeah, the Tenkaichi Budokai offers nothing that differs from standard ranked aside from the tournament grounds always being used.

In other words, a totally pointless addition.

Same here. The only "content" I have left is grinding boring PQs for skills and clothes, but what am I collecting them for? Once I have them there won't be any place to use them because the story is over, the PQs are boring and repetitive, and the PvP is garbage. This game needs more off-line modes other than the AI matches that are permanently set to easy-mode. Hell, even an off-line world tournament mode would be something to do with all this stuff I grinded endlessly for.

I spent a lot of time planning out my build, but by the time I get to level 99 and have all the skills and clothes I want I'll have 100-percented the game. Whats the point? I'm gonna grind forever to get Beerus' clothes...why? So I can wear them while grinding for super vanishing ball or Vegetto's clothes?

And this game has ZERO replay value, I can finally create a new character after beating the story and what do I see? Everyone treats him like the old character! The story doesn't even start over, not that it would be any different because they never acknowledge your race and even call you by the wrong gender multiple times.

Also, Dimps need to work on scaling difficulty with smarter/more aggressive AI rather than by giving infinite ki, infinite stamina, super armor, and multiple health-bars to the enemies. I was looking forward to playing around with body change in PQs but I can't because all the enemies have cheats enabled, so Dimps had to limit that move to PvP.

I'm desperate for a good Dragon Ball game with CaC and RPG elements, and this was a good start, but I really hope they fix some of these flaws for XV2.

This game definitely has problems and I agree with pretty much everything you said. Although I still find the urge to go and make a new character some time, I just can't be bothered getting them to a higher level as the grind is far too long. I think my highest character is level 87 (although I have two around this level and like 6 level 40's) and I've platinumed the entire game with z ranks on pretty much everything. Way too much grinding has burnt people out.

I'm at level 83 right now; when I do play I just play a couple rounds. I'm guessing I need to probably keep leveling up before Gokû challenges me to another match. Right now he gives me L Health Capsules (which are helpful, I do use them) or says something cute about how he better learn some new skills himself. I had one hilariously "tense" moment where Vegeta spawned directly opposite Gokû after having vanished for two weeks after I'd initially dropped him for Gokû. Also I randomly earned Vegetto's gi shirt at one point. I did hear in the latest Dumplin video that Bandai-Namco is pretty much done with updates to XV. I'm probably just going to continue to on-and-off play Gokû's route til I either finish it or get bored of the game.

I've tried the Budokai yesterday. Two words - so lame... I expected something classic, with announcer, some few intros of cheering crowd and such. No, it's the same as online match and you can't even go trough the ladder (it's beta they say),
at least, there should've been a variant of making your own local Budokai with 8 slots at least.

I am really admiring people finishing the Master's quests and leveling over 88th level, because I won't do that.
As Elder Kai said to me: ''You have to be level 93 to start the ritu...'' I tossed the gamepad with a proclamation: ''F* you Bandai!!''

The game has ended for me officialy yesterday :) I wonder about possible sequel, which I will buy probably for 40% as I am now.
This game cost me like Arkham Knight and offered me 2,5 hours of Story mode and original content and countless hours of boring grinding.

Why isn't there an actual local tournament mode like the ones that were included in the Budokai series, the Budokai Tenkaichi series and the Raging Blast series? This mode really should be essential in Dragon Ball fighting games.

Yeah, mostly everyone's burnt out, including myself, though I do play it once in a while for character creation and desiring to get Z ranks in all story battles. I'm done with the PQs. Hopefully in the future Dimps will ease up the grinding level a bit and just have the PQs as optional and focus more on the single player campaign than online, especially with a secret mode(something Budokai's known for) and real world tournament mode.

Oh, and I can't WAIT to see Namco's reaction to the unbalances and spamming of this game, since I know the final round is gonna be full of spammers and the company's gonna watch...and cringe!
