Madman just posted on their Twitter that Resurrection 'F' is getting extended screenings in Australia and from what I've seen on theatre websites it looks like it's out for another week!

That makes the total Australian theatrical run of the film 3 weeks... Did I ever tell you guys how much I love Madman?

Well speaking of Australia it's made AU$1.41 million now or US$1.04 million.

It's getting more difficult to track it now due to a lack of updates from Box Mojo, Funimation or Screendaily but it looks to be at $61.0 million now.

It'd be disappointing because the movie would have the potential to make a few million there, not to mention all the fans that would want to see it. I don't know what they're playing at really, France is likely the biggest market in Europe that they could bring this movie to.

There's unlikely to be any numbers out there for what it did in France a couple weeks ago just like there were no numbers for when the movie came out in US back in April for a day.

If there's a large demand for it then it might expand like it has in US and Australia though.

Good news on Italy joining September EUro lineup, much faster than last time. BOG made 1.2 million just in 3 days last time in Italy.

Yeah, and no. I see why you interpreted my post like you did. It has one screening... in Toulouse, Lyon, etc. spread over many places, and only one time. That's what I meant. At least that's what is announced. But I hope more days will be announced, including the french dub.

New Zealand - $0.13 million

It added around $70,000 or so since Thursday so rounded up it's at $61.2 million. It's probably not going to move anymore until early/mid September.

Some of the screenings are just for one day at one time, but hey, it's better than nothing. I've already booked my ticket for the showing in Newham, as it's the closest and most convenient for me.

Box Office Mojo also updated the overseas gross. They have it at $52,778,035 overseas as of the 25th and $60,786,398 worldwide but that's not including Canada so it's at about $61.19 million or so really.

€519,000 = $588,000 which for some reason is considerably less than what BoG opened to (€922,000 = $1.285 million). However I'm not sure if BoG only had those 2 days whereas RoF was also shown on Monday.

Did ROF get less advertisement than BOG? Maybe that's the reason the opening gross is much less.

I'm not entirely sure, at least in terms of the US gross the exchange rate played in favour of BoG so that's part of it.

However as for the Euro gross I would theorise that BoG was onlyshown in Italy on the Saturday and Sunday (I don't know this for a fact) whereas RoF appears to have been shown on at least 3 days so far and might be shown on more which would spread the gross out.

In any case it was the highest grossing movie in Italy yesterday.

I really hope that 1) F gets shown more than one time nationally in france, and 2) we'll get some numbers for this showing (it's ridiculous to have only one - the cinéma where I was was pretty full)
