The original BOG movie would have been terrible anyways. Knowing Toei, Beerus would never have the same level of personality that he did in the movie and would have been another generic doomsday villain. If Beerus was going to be a lizard, Toei would have him transform into Godzilla or some crap because every Toei movie transforms expect for Dr. Uiro and TUrles.

I knew going in that I'd get pretty inaccurate translations, of course, but I still love how "bi-ru-su" (Beerus) is translated as "Builth"...

Yeah, too short and too soon for late September episodes. Probably fake, again.

It wouldn't even make sense to name 12 "Goku vs Beerus" when the other titles (and the current pacing) imply the fight will begin in episode 10, at most.
Also, we know SSJ God is born in episode 9, then 10 is called "show me Saiyan Goku"?

I don't think BoG Arc will end in the first episode about SSJG x Beerus. And we still are waiting for Champa first appearance.

I can't see Toei neatly packing a start and end arc in the same package. They'll sell more if you have to buy the second one to get the end of the first.

The box sets are being done to make it easier to sell an entire arc. Toei Animation would be releasing singles if they really wanted to wring a whole lot extra out, but they know they won't be able to do that with Dragon Ball Super, because it isn't going to be as well produced as a late night series.

I don't know off hand, but I think Toei does something similar with Precure's DVD releases. I think it's like six episodes a pack though? I don't know. I'm almost sure it's less than 12 at least.

Those titles are all unconfirmed, so best to take it with a grain of salt. Furthermore we know the title for episode 9(Sorry for the wait Lord Beerus! Super Saiyan God is finally born!!), so at the very least episode 10 will start the fight between Godku and Beerus, unless they ramp up the Z style close-ups for 2 whole episodes!!

Toei has been starting trading singles for box sets, but it's not just them, to be fair..ufotable and Madhouse are doing the same with some series, for instance. Death Parade, Parasyte, etc. Seems to be a new trend, but for long running shows i think that's the way to go. The One Piece singles sell rather poorly compared to the Log Collections, someone must've realized that.

Maybe the titles are compressed for space in the TV Guide? There is definitely a "God" missing from "Show me Saiyan Goku!".
