Dying? No, but it wanes from time to time. Of course, when it returns it's in full force.

I definitely don't re-watch or re-read anything from the series as much I did in the early to mid-2000s. But I'm still a big fan of the show and the manga, but if it weren't for the awesome community here, I probably wouldn't be talking about or following the franchise as actively as I do today.
Getting new movies and series is great, but having people to talk about it with always helps.

My love for the show waxes and wanes over time. Some times i'm more invested in it and it's like Eddie Murphy's bit about crackers. When you first try something like Ritz, you love the hell out of it, then after a while of eating it a lot, sooner or later you go, "Hey, i just got some regular old crackers." Give me enough distance, I'll enjoy it again. However, my peak fandom is probably long since passed, which is ironic because I feel like I understand more about the series than I ever did.
The biggest truths aren't original. The truth is ketchup. It's Jim Belushi. Its job isn't to blow our minds. It's to be within reach.

Nope. My love for the series keeps getting stronger and stronger
I watch the entire series at-least once a year except for GT. I haven't watched that in about 2-3 years.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Well I did go into a massive lull from almost all Dragon Ball activity from 2005-2012, I played the odd video game here and there but that was it... until one fateful day when I walked in on a few friends in an empty classroom in sixth form... talking about Dragon Ball, mainly GT and SS4 I joined in and we talked for nearly the entire period and that re-sparked me into the franchise and then in due time I found out about BoG and I haven't looked back since, and then FUNi released DBZ on BD allowing me re-watch the entire series proper and then Viz started releases the full colour Manga so I decided to check out that medium, then I found out about how awesome Kai actually is thanks to this site and of course this year we have had Resurrection "F" and Super. The fact that being able to Resurrection "F" in cinemas is making me so excited shows I am well away from losing interest in the series again.

Frankly, yes. I too followed Baggie Saiyan's trajectory, dropping out after the Toonami run was on its way out around 2004ish, then coming back through DaizEx in 2011. Coming into the revival sparked by "Yo!" was rather neat, and Battle of Gods was better than I dared to hope, but Resurrection F was a confused mess, and we will be waiting some time yet before Super gets the chance to prove itself. There just is not much more for Dragon Ball do, and ironically enough its trying to do more only further highlights that.

I don't think I'll ever not like (or even love) the series, but you can track my relative active interest in it by whether or not I've posted in a three-month period. All the new content has got me on a kick for it, but that'll come and go.

Like some others have said, my interest for the series has never really died since I got into the franchise. It does wane a little bit from time to time, usually when there is a lack of content...but that hasn't been a problem for a while at this point. Even at its "weakest" though, my attachment to the series has still been stronger than any other franchise I've got my fingers dipped into.
