Why wouldn't One Piece have its titles as well?

Maybe the titles are compressed for space in the TV Guide? There is definitely a "God" missing from "Show me Saiyan Goku!".

Yeah, and the title makes no sense also. If it's true, my bet would be that "Goku" would have "God" in furigana so as to read "Show me the Saiya-jin God" (Goddo) referring to Goku. They even sound alike.

Partly-unrelated; I am so amused by the fact that there's a show called "Disco Train" on this TV Guide.

Scan looks legit. I'm also in agreement with other posters that those are probably abbreviated versions of the full titles and that's just all they could fit in the space.

My guesses:
13th - ssjg ritual completes; battle begins at halfway point
20th - ends at the underground part of the battle
27th - ends at the outer-space 12-uni reveal.

I have a feeling that Super won't last long because I talked to fans and natural viewers to get a better view of how Super is doing. And I was surprised how much negative feedback I got from people, especially about the animation people think it looks too flat and different.
Super is not Z, but I personally hope Super lasts for a long time, but I'm afraid this won't be the case. I'm curious what people will say if Super airs on U.S and European TV.

We still haven't seen the rest of Super yet. Besides if Super gets good toy sales and ratings that's all it matters.

Not with Goku going God in Episode 9 it won't. We're almost definitely looking at BoG and F being 12 episodes each.

I don't think BoG Arc will end in the first episode about SSJG x Beerus. And we still are waiting for Champa first appearance.

If those titles for 10, 11 and 12 are real then 9, 10 and 11 are probably Godku vs Beerus and 12 is after Goku falls out of God mode and then the battle takes off to space and then the post battle stuff and then 13 will be the first post BoG episode.

The box sets are being done to make it easier to sell an entire arc. Toei Animation would be releasing singles if they really wanted to wring a whole lot extra out, but they know they won't be able to do that with Dragon Ball Super, because it isn't going to be as well produced as a late night series.

I've actually been wondering about this kind of stuff lately. Is that entirely Toei's call? How much influence do their partners like Happinet (for Kai/Super) and Avex Pictures (for One Piece) have over things like DVD/BD episode counts?

I'm not sure how much influence they might have, but maybe it's worth noting the release styles of other current Toei series. Hopefully I haven't missed any.

World Trigger: 3 episode singles (Toei Video)
Shuriken Sentai Ninninger: 4 episode DVD singles, 12 episode BD boxes (Toei Video)
Kamen Rider Drive: 4 episode DVD singles, 12 episode BD boxes (Toei Video)
Go! Princess Precure: 3 episode DVD singles, 12 episode BD boxes (Marvelous)
One Piece: 4 episode singles, ~15 episode back catalog boxes (Avex Pictures)
Saint Seiya Soul of Gold: 2 episode singles (Bandai Visual)

Super's 12 episode box only release style doesn't match any of those, but it does match the Boo arc of Kai. The previous arcs of Kai originally had DVD singles plus BD boxes as they aired, so this is a new style unique to Happinet, at least for on-going Toei shows.

With the current TV ratings and sales of Dragon Ball merch, I don't see Super getting canceled anytime soon.

I reckon we'll get a new OP or new animation at least for the Freeza arc because they still can't be teasing Goku using SS1, 3 and G when all those forms will be redundant once that arc starts. I really hope they didn't throw those random Freeza soldiers in the current OP so they can cover the Freeza arc too, that would be super lame.

Speaking of the opening. That part with Jaco and Mr Satan seems to me that it is meant to have more people in it. There's lots of empty space before Gotenks and Buu show up. I'm crossing my fingers that they will add more new characters there once the BoG arc ends.

Why do you call it 1.0?

Because Buu Kai is completely different in just about every regard, (different OP, Music, Remaster, 16x9, Green Tint etc) it might aswell be deemed a different version, hence why people use 1.0 and 2.0 to distinguish between the versions.

They're probably gonna go the way of Kai and throw different parts of animation for the opening and ending sequences, each fitting the arc that's running. The first "round" of Kai from 2009 to 2011, covering everything from the Saiya-jin arc to the Cell Games, had a total of four different sequences in the second half of the opening (one for the Saiya-jin arc, one for the Freeza arc, one for the Jinzouningen arc and one for the Cell arc), while keeping the opening theme always the same; in the second round they went for a complete renewal, with an unchanged animation sequence and new opening and closing themes.

No matter how long DBSuper is going to run for, I'd think we'll get slight changes in the sequence of images seen in the opening for the Beerus arc, the Freeza arc and the 6th Universe arc, but they could also keep the opening exactly as it is throughout the entirety of the series. We do have bits and parts of the Freeza arc (the soldiers Goku and Vegeta are seen fighting, with Freeza's army typical armors) and the 6th Universe arc (Champa and his attendant) in the opening we've already seen. We really will have to see. One thing they will obviously not touch is the themes, though, and thank goodness for that, because they're just f****** fantastic, especially the opening one.
