Bojack Unbound

Post by Dayspring » Sun Apr 18, 2004 7:24 pm

Any news on when movie 9 comes out on DVD? A lot of sites are saying "04/00/04" in order to mean sometime this month, but half the idiots just took it off a site who thought it was the 10th and made a typo in the date. I know FUNi's got plans for this, we all know the dubbie title: "Bojack Unbound". It was even referred to in Shonen Jump (cards for the game were taken off charas from movie 9: [insert crappy title], and some more of Broly).

FUNimation also said we'd be getting 4-5 movies this year, but guess what?

Yep :)

I actually hope they do one boxset for the last five movies, because they're all fairly avergae, but I geuss you can make more money from singles.

What? FUNimation pass up the chance to milk more money out of their abused franchise? I'm suprised they didn't start releasing the episodes 2 per tape like they did with the first season of DB.

To be fair to Funi, KidMark was the one that owned those episodes. And they do have to individually negotiate with TOEI on every movie seperately.

perhaps Toei wants to do their own DBZ MOVie DVDs before the US finishes theirs.

In any case, I have a lot of DB to catch up on, so in a way I'm happy they're not releasing anymore stuff DB related that I'll be interested in for the moment.

So am I. I'm getting behind a bit on collecting the most recent movie and Cell saga releases. 8)

Yeah but I'm poor and don't like filler (yet I like the movies... O_o). So gimme my DBZ movies + GT box sets already!

Do they even plan on releasing GT in boxed sets? The series is almost finished and they're still selling all of them individually.

They'll probably release box sets after all of the series is out. There aren't as many eps to cash in on as the other 2 series, so it's best to wait until after it's all released.

Do you know what'd rock my socks off?

Dragonball Collection Box Sets.

Just a thought. A horrid, mean evil one.

At least though with the DB volumes, you get quite a few episodes already. It's a good deal in my opinion. 8)
