I don't know, that is what Rou Kaioshin implied Beerus was doing. That was pretty much what Boo did before being sealed, he destroyed several hundreds of planets in a couple of years (Goku implied the universe could disappear at the same rate if he didn't stop Boo in Kaioshin's realm).

2. He meant beerus destroy the habitable planet not the inhabitable.
3. Beerus destroy the source of life like sun or the debris because of the destructions or explosions will create radiation that destroys life.
4. God of creation power to create a planet and living being is very weak unlike shenron and the like.
5. It never put shenron in equation. It's stated in the manga that is literally impossible to locate dragonball without dragon radar, and the material to create it are ultimate rare so losing the radar will mean it will be impossible for anyone to summon shenron again.
6. If goku can do instant transmission feat why not beerus.

If we assume that each galaxy has the same diameter as the Milky Way in real life (~100,000 light-years) and that there are gaps of equal size in the middle and to the sides of each galaxy, then the DB universe could be treated as a sphere with a diameter of ~500,000 light-years, and a volume of ~6.55 * 10 ^16 cubic light-years. That's huge to be sure, and probably way too fast to meaningfully destroy one planet at a time at any kind of reasonable rate, but the volume of the visible universe in real life is still almost 6.5 quadrillion times greater.

Beerus could indeed destroy the universe, but could he simply launch a single attack and the universe would be no more? We have no idea. As far as we know, it might take 1000 attacks from him to destroy the universe, or 10.000 or 100.000, which he could do if he got mad enough. Or it could take just one. You have no idea how big the DB universe is compared to ours and we have seen Beerus, with Whis, travel from the mortal universe to outside of the mortal universe, aka, the afterlife in around 20 minutes, as well as Beerus reaching Whis in a far away planet in a matter of minutes. So, no. And, as far as you know, Beerus could simply be standing on his planet firing carefully aimed ki blasts into the universe, destroying about 1/100000 of the universe with each blast. Once he fired the 100000th blast, the universe would be gone.
