He didn't even make a game plan for what happens after Gotenks beats Boo. Why? Probably because he wasn't certain if he could or not.
Why would he have to make a plan? Gotenks beats Boo, everyone uses the Dragon Balls to wish the Earthlings back, the day is saved. Where is a plan required?
He reveals this during the opening bout with Kid Boo where he states he wanted the younger generation to figure out a way to win one way or another -implying he actually wasn't certain if fusion would be enough and also implies that they would need to find a way to win without his help AFTER fusion has become a relevant option.
No, he says that to Piccolo, and all that says is learning fusion in time is a gamble, not that he's clueless about how Gotenks will turn out.
This statement is irrelevant to my point. I will not comment on it.
Avoiding the fact that you're a hypocrite?
He is in battle of gods. However, in the original manga he isn't shown to be weaker either.
No, he's not.
Krillin states that Goku said fusion is strongest and is the reason he believes the ideal.
After explicitly sensing Gotenks' Ki. He agrees with the notion even after sensing Gotenks' Ki.

Gotenks never beat Boo and nobody confirmed that he could. All we have is 'Oohs and Aahhs'. Which hardly qualifies as the building blocks for any relevant point.

This isn't where Goku says it's a gamble. This is directly after Ultimate Gohan & Gotenks are dead and Goku is in Ssj3 about to fight Kid Boo. He wanted to the boys to figure out a way to win, 'one way or another'. One way or another? This implies uncertainty. If Gotenks Ssj Pre-ROST was already stronger than Fat Boo than there should only be 'one way'. However, there isn't and Gotenks being stronger than Fat Boo is simple hyperbole.

Flagged.

Feats depict him as so.

Krillin only believes it because Goku stated he is. He even says so.

He doesn't say one way or another.
Goku: “Is that alright? You just might not get your turn…I can say this now, but the truth is that with that fat Boo, I would have been able to defeat him at the time with Super Saiyan 3…However, I wanted the young guys to manage something…For the Earth’s sake too…”
Nothing about his statement indicates that he was uncertain how he expected them to take Buu on.

To
manage something.

Which literally doesn't say anything about him being uncertain how he expected them to try and fight Buu, or that he was uncertain about their strength. He knew it wouldn't be a simple task, but he believed they'd be able to make their way through it all the same. Nothing about "manage something" means "one way or another", like he was uncertain how they were going to take care of things.

If Gotenks was certainly stronger than Fat Boo, they wouldn't have to manage something. They could just outright kill him. However, he clearly wasn't.
Hence why:
a) Battle of Gods depicts Vegeta Ssj2 & Good Boo as stronger than Gotenks Ssj Post-ROST.
b) Db Super depicts Fat Boo as stronger than Gotenks Base Post-ROST.
c) Yo Son Goku depicts Goku as even with Gotenks or stronger.
& nothing in the original manga contradicts the above.

You're avoiding the original argument. You argued Goku had no plan, I explained Goku didn't need a further plan, then you randomly moved on to this?

No, it's not. You're mixing these two statements up:
Chapter: 476 (DBZ 282), P11.1-3
Context: Goku tells Piccolo that he ‘probably’ couldn’t have defeated Boo with Super Saiyan 3
Goku: “No… I’m no longer a human who’s particularly even supposed to be here…I shouldn’t be the one to do it. It’d be better for these young guys to solve things somehow or another…After all, some other outrageous guy might show up eventually, right? …It's a nasty gamble, but…Seeing those two super-gifted squirts, it made me want to take this gamble…”
Chapter: 509 (DBZ 315), P11.4-6
Context: as Goku prepares to fight Boo
Goku: “Is that alright? You just might not get your turn…I can say this now, but the truth is that with that fat Boo, I would have been able to defeat him at the time with Super Saiyan 3…However, I wanted the young guys to manage something…For the Earth’s sake too…”

Not really, no..
h0kuten wrote:Krillin only believes it because Goku stated he is. He even says so.
Yet he sensed Gotenks' Ki, so for Krillin to still believe Goku, Gotenks would either have to be what's strongest, or Krillin would just have to be an idiot.

No, it doesn't.

All "managing something" means is that it wouldn't necessarily be an easy process. Even if someone is stronger than someone else, that doesn't instantly mean it's going to be a total landslide or the enemy doesn't have some way of making the fight difficult. Buu has his regeneration and his candy beam, and that's just among the abilities Goku knew of at the time. Any fears he may have had regarding Gotenks fighting Buu may have been from him not completely knowing Buu's abilities at the time.
a) Given that Beerus was fluctuating his strength in relation to his opponents, that's irrelevant.
b) See above.
c) You mean the Gotenks that wasn't being serious at all, that was using his own nonsense attacks as well as the attacks of Yamcha and Tenshinhan to attack him? Hell, one could readily make the argument that the only reason Aka was so easily taken out by Goku after is because Gotenks weakened him. I mean, after all, that's what the feats show.

Goku said he
wanted them to
manage something. Meaning, he hoped they could, but it doesn't necessarily mean they could. This particular statement that is currently in discussion can be interpreted in many different ways, so my opinion is as valid as your own.
a) Androids cannot be sensed. So Beerus couldn't fluctuate his power in accordance with her.
~ Counter to Beerus seeing her movements ~ Beerus' back was turned in Battle of Gods, so he couldn't judge what he saw, unless you believe he has eyes on the back of his head. The argument is still relevant.

The lack of Piccolo saying "Your power is definetely greater than Boo's now" or "Don't go, Boo's power is still greater than yours" makes me think SS Gotenks could manage something against Fat Boo, but since he didn't have enough time to fight that form of Boo there wasn't a confirmation until he actually fights the powered-up Boo.

The underlying truth around your statement is that we can't know for certain and all ideas are relevant.
