Is it too early for the listing for this month's VJump to be up on CD Japan yet? I can't find the listing. ^^;

Not that I'm buying them, but I'm fairly certain I got the email reminder about it going up like last week...maybe a bit before then. If it's not there, I'd guess it's already sold out?

Maybe they'll get more copies in later? I really do like that cover with ssjg Gokû battling Beerus.

Even Amazon.jp is out of them. Bizarre. Did I just underestimate how popular this is?

It must be selling something.I was lucky to snag it off of amazon when it came back in stock for a short time. I do plan on getting them just in case a tankobon is not released. They do take up alotta space tho lol

I do like this chapter has a few more pages to it. It needs a larger page count. I wonder if it's getting it because it's getting more popular?

whats annoying me is I coulda swore Akira Toriyama mentioned the Super manga as his contribution to Super but I can't find the quote >.< I remember thinking he must have meant he wanted a manga because thats how Dragon Ball started but I wonder if he provides a little more input into it since Super seems to be 100% TOEI

I'm metaphorically kicking myself for not checking sooner. I've been under the impression Super hasn't been doing well. Mistaken on that I guess.

CDJapan does have back orders for the past two months of VJump though, so I'm hoping they're just temporarily out of copies.

It's possible that Toyble isn't making the larger plot points up himself though.

That's not just possible, i think that's a given. I doubt he can come up with ideas himself, he's doing whatever they're giving wim to work on, which means being able to introduce a few extras, like Champa's early appearances, so people won't ignore it but keep coming back, even if it's only an advertisement for the anime series.

As for the differences, he's doing scenes more like the movie (the ritual, the fight) simply because he's certainly not watching the tv anime in advance (there would be no time for that), so the movie is the visual reference he has. What he does know is where the anime is going (Goku keeping SSG till the end of the fight is one of the many proofs).

The anime looks like it won't have Goku go regular SS too, based off preview and episode titles. Shame really, that was a good a hurrah for the old Super Saiyan form. Ahh well.

The chapter looked very good, I'll be interested in reading it once it's scanlated. The fight was obviously brief but if the anime was nearly as cool as it looked in this chapter then I'm sure I'll like it.

So cool that everything is leading up to something. I'm going to guess that the Dragon Balls where originally from U6 and they are not a creation from this universe.

Point but ignoring Goku going SS goes against what Toriyama envisioned and I feel like Toei could have done something else other just ignoring it, they could have explained that Goku hadn't fully absorbed the power of SSG or his body was still in the process in absorbing this power. Or they could just roll with it like the movies did, we did get rage boost Vegeta without SS3 afterall.

This split is a major plot point, I am really curious to know if they will bring this idea to the anime version and what this split really could mean.

I'm fine with Kaioshin and Kibito splitting back up. I like their individual designs better than their fusion and this way we get one more spare character with the ability to heal wounds (Kibito).

I am really curious to know what this split really could mean.

It means Gt fans should stop hoping this'll line up somehow with it.

But in terms of Super itself,Toriyama may be planning on bringing back Vegetto so he wants us to know in advance that the fusion can be undone.
