4 galaxies or 4 quadrants of galaxies?

To my understanding and for what Daizenshuu 7 implies : The 4 galaxies = 4 quadrants of the Universe, which basically means that the 4 "Galaxies" are actually 4 Super Mega giant Galaxies--composed with many generic galaxies inside-- so big that they represent 1/4 of the whole universe and not a generic Galaxy (size wise) like the Milky Way. They´re "galaxy" only in name.

That´s my interpretation.

So there's one galaxy. And Beers is still outside of a galaxy destroying planets. There's also a ton of other stuff that exists outside of that galaxy without being part of another galaxy.

look to these quotes in the movie 8:

"we would no longer have a single foe left. The Northern Galaxy, and of course
the Eastern and Western Galaxies,would be undivided under our rule."

not convinced? well here's a quote from the movie which confirms that the galaxy that broly destroyed at the beginning of the film is one of many galaxies that exist in the south galaxy / south quadrant :

"Legendary Super Saiyan? He is wreaking havoc all over an area of
the Southern Galaxy with his fearsome power. At his pace, even the New Planet Vegeta that we worked to establish will fall to the Legendary Super Saiyan..."

note he mentioned the word "area" and know what Daizenshuu 7 says about area?

Earth is divided into 43 administrative sectors. Means one of those sectors. Also, the four areas of east, west, south, and north that the universe is divided into could each similarly be called districts. In other words, it means a sector split for convenience in administrative action.

Basically the 4 galaxies aren't 4 it's merely quadrants.

So when you speak of southern galaxy then it doesn't mean that it's 1 galaxy out of 4.

It means the entire southern section of galaxies.

Just like in our real life. It represents galaxies in the southern section.

That in itself leads us to the observable universe, by real life standards it's over 50.000.000 galaxies just in the southern section.

Funnily enough Kanzenshuu has used "quadrant" before too.

I'd like to point out in battle of gods King Kai stated Beerus could destroy a CLUSTER of galaxies...so unless he meant only 3 or 4,which would be the entire universe and not what he does...yeah I personally think that adds to the more then 4 galaxies side. But that's just me.

Think that was just a dub line, but Super corroborates that he could do at least that much, so it does at least fit.

This has just become major debate for those people obsessed about Goku vs. Superman stuff mainly due to Goku and Beerus' feat in episode 12 where they shook off the entire universe,many Superman fans said that the Dragon Ball Universe only consist 4 galaxies and many Dragon Ball fans seem to not agree.Though i dont really take these Goku vs. Superman debate seriously because it will really never end

Me neither. But unrelated to that whole issue, I think the evidence from the Daizenshuus very strongly implies 4 galaxies total.
