So why would the fusion boost be inconsistent between Pre and Post ROSAT? You'd think they'd be the same based on Goku judging Gotenks' possible strength on the fusion he saw the Metamorans do.

I usually just attribute it to plot, personally.

So SSJ Gotenks (Pre and Post RoSaT) surpassed SSJ3 Goku power level? Everybody agrees on that?

It's stated by Goku himself, so I personally don't see a reason not to.

Gohan never got weaker. He just lost his rage boost (Buu arc) and his ultimate state (RoF).

I dont really think Gohan got weaker from Cell Games to Super,Like Zombie said,i think he just lost his ultimate state,his rage boost and his skills got rusty

Likely my imagination. I kind of wish Super Saiyan God has something to do with Gohan not using Ultimate later on the story, since his own power-up is related to godly magic.

I find it hard to believ that the Super Saiyan kids are stronger than Android 18. She was surprised that they were as strong as they were, and, together, Goten and Trunks could probably beat her, but the kids were not o her level, at least, before the Time Chamber.

A suppressed Ki blast from Trunks made her feel threatened for her own life. Enough so that she had to end the match with a dangerous move that could potentially kill the kids instead of knocking them out of the ring, which would be much safer.

Context: after Trunks’ ki blast explodes
No.18: “Yo-you’ve got to be kidding…That energy bullet had absolutely incredible speed and destructive power…Co-could it be that those squirts have outrageous power?…This is dangerous! I’ve got to settle this fight soon!”

Goten and Trunks being weaker than #18 also brings up the question of how Goten could possibly make FPSS Gohan sweat profusely, grit his teeth, flare his aura, and make him struggle to block his hits if he was multiple times weaker than the latter.

Do you also believe Android #18's head wouldn't come off from a reactive punch from FPSS Vegeta?

Also, I doubt a reactive punch from Vegeta would kill 18. If Vegeta slugged her with all of his might, it would be a different story, but if he hit her as hard as he hit Trunks when they were training, 18 would have a broken jaw, at the worst.

I don't believe that sparring against Gohan is an accurate indicator to how strong Goten is. Not only has Gohan's power gone down from 7 years ago, but his skills and reflexes would've been severely rusty.

While that's true, Gohan was still strong enough to fight Dabra as a SS/SS2, so his power couldn't have dropped that much. His skills are rusty, but Goten wouldn't have any skill to begin with, evening it out.

It's also worth noting when there actually is a big gap in power between two people sparring, it's shown to be one-sided, unlike Goten and Gohan's sparring, which is shown completely even.

Why are you assuming his punch against Trunks wasn't full force? The punch was out of instinct and not intentional, how could Vegeta actively suppress something he doesn't mean to do?
