Budokai 3 Question

Post by Big Momma » Fri Dec 22, 2006 1:58 pm

I'm not sure if the American and Japanese versions of Budokai 3 have the same music, but I was wondering if the American Version had a sountrack. There are a few songs I really like in the US version.

1. The American version and the Japanese version, as far as i know, have the same music.

2. No, there is not an American soundtrack for the game's music. Hwever, there is a Japanese version, and since it has all of the same music as the US release, you needn't worry about whether to buy it or not.

Hope that helps! :D

The soundtrack has a good amount of the songs from Budokai 2. There are a few tracks that aren't on the soundtrack. If you wanna hear them, Kula made a zip file containing the missing files. They are somewhere in this board (The Music one, mind you), so it's not hard to find :)

I really recommend buying the soundtrack, its really great.
As an owner of soundtrack, I can guarantee, you'll have fun listening to it.

..It may have been useless, but, thats my addition to this little thread.

I'm pretty sure the American and Japanese music is different in Budokai 3. I mean the opening is the same....minus Hironobu Kageyama's lyrics.

But I think that the background music has been changed. I sure of this because I hear people complain about not being able to change the music to the Japanese soundtrack.

Nope, the Budokai series always has the same music throughout the world. It's the Sparking! series that Atari had switched the music on us.

Thanks guys, your responses helped. :D Too bad Tenkaichi doesn't have the same music. I'll just get a Wii and import(The Wii is region free, isn't it?)

The Wii is not region free but there is a company working on making some software to get around region coding on the Wii.
