Not surprisingly, the film's got a 12A rating in the UK.
The BBFC lists the run time as 94 minutes too, so I'm guessing that means we won't be getting the pre-show that the US got. Interestingly, they've rated the subtitled version for a theatrical release too. Has Manga announced any subtitled screenings?
That could be for the Scotland loves anime screenings because I hear they show anime films only in Japanese.

Probably something to do with rights? Still, quite funny to have Freeza yell at you to get up, lol.

Not for Dragon Ball, sadly.

I had planned to go for Battle of Gods, but cancelled last second when they revealed they would be showing the dub.

I believe it was to do with what Manga UK would give them.

The Golden Freeza alarm clock doesn't play 'F'? What a waste of an opportunity. I was so hyped for that. If that storyboard book wasn't included, I'd probably just be importing the regular edition.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

This has gotta be the first time a Dragon Ball film has been shown in UAE. Hell, I think this may be the first time an anime film may have gotten screenings in the UAE if I'm not mistaken.

Huh yeah that is odd. I checked the website just and "F" is dubbed while the rest of the films I checked were subbed. Maybe Manga were lazy and didn't produce any subs?

I think it's more a case of Manga UK (and the festival) wanting to get a good return on the film. As much as it pains me to say it, the dub is infinitely more popular. It will fill cinemas far better than the sub ever would.

I just can't decide on getting the movie or not.

In one hand I really want to get the movie in Blu ray now to get the sleeve cover but in the other one I don't want to get fucked over if they announced a extended edition.

No need to worry. Since they're adapting it in Super, there's no reason to ever do an extended version. Go right ahead!

That's the issue I have as well. There might not be an extended edition but if there was I'd be pissed because I wouldn't buy it a second time, I'd have to download it and then I'd never really want to watch the version I bought again if it's the short version.

Super is the extended version.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Just booked my ticket at the Surrey Quays Odoen. It's literally a 10 minute walk from where I live. :D

Bad news UK folks, Resurrection "F" delayed on BD/DVD in the UK. Base.com have said February but Manga have responded to a tweet saying it's TBC, but it does look like it is definitely delayed. So many delays in the anime industry lately, no wonder folks resort to piracy or import anime elsewhere. Anyway FUNi have had a lot of things delayed recently too so it wouldn't surprise me if their release of "F" gets delayed too.

Edit-

Official announcement: http://www.mangauk.com/post.php?p=drago ... ate-change
Seems it is due to extended theatre run time.
