"What If?" scenarios that you want to see?

Well, how about it?

They had some really good What-If's in Budokai 1, my personal favourite being Vegeta (with Scouter) changing into a SSJ well before his time, with Nappa looking on in awe. Others such as Krillin being absorbed by Cell was fresh and new, and so was the Yamcha and Tien fusion. These have all but dissappeared in the latest games.

In Tenkaichi 2, I'd love to see Bardock punch on with Freeza, and change into a SSJ as he deflects the Deathball heading towards Planet Vegeta, and having a final showdown during his What-if scenario. I doubt it would be difficult, since Bardock's model is pretty much identical to Goku.

Also, ditch the silly Zarbon what-if, and as for Raditz's What-If, have him fight side by side with his little brother against Vegeta and Nappa.

Suggestions?

I always wanted to see what would happen in the Buu Saga in Future Trunks' timeline when Babidi came looking for Buu's shell.

Hmm, just hope its in BT3 cause they will only add new characters and a stage for the greatest hits, I would want to see Gohan fuse with Goku in the Buu arc and see Gohan wining the last battle and become the hero again for Buu saga and maybe a what if Broli wasn't mad...

What if GT was executed correctly?

What if Burdock travelled to the future and interacted with his grown-up son and various others?

What if the whole SSJ thing never occured. =D The human characters would still have had some importance in later story arcs.

The thing about that is that, barring the obvious attacks by 17 and 18, the time of the Buu saga passed without event on Trunks' Earth. Of course, I doubt that'd matter given that we're talking about what-if scenarios in video games.

Personally, I'd like to see the Tenshinhan/Yamcha fusion return. Maybe give it a bit more focus and center a story around it, rather than just "hey guys, here's a neat little extra".

What if Lunch had trained under Kame-Sen'nin when Goku and Kuririn did, and kept up reasonably with everyone's battle powers. Then she could be re-inserted in DBZ in some meaningful way.

What if Chi Chi and Videl use the Fusion dance to fight the fat Majin Boo.

What if Pan transformed into a Super Saiyan against Baby-Vegeta.

What if Goten and Trunks had ever made themselves useful in any GT fight by fusing.

What if Goku hadn't hit his head as a child? Kakarrot Dragonball story mode!

What if Gohan had become Piccolo's legacy as a Demon Clansman?

As well as:

What if a group of villains banded together to fight Goku and co. I know the first BT/Sparking did this plotline but in my opinion it was horribly under used. I'd like to see it done again and this time develop the villains point of view more perhaps with them discussing things, maybe forming alliances before breaking apart to fight each other (say Freeza and Cell team up to take on Brolli and Buu for example), and also show a varient from the heroes point of view - how do they feel about the villains teaming up etc.

More Buu absorptions, say Buu absorbing Cooler, Janeumba, Young Gohan.

More what if fusions, say the infamous Piccolo/Kururin fusion.

I'd really love a what-if focused on some of the minor good guys. Like, maybe a Tenshinhan one where...where.... what the hell can Tenshinhan do?

Or maybe one about Freeza. More Freeza is always good.

Heh... the ending was one of the best parts of Radtiz's storyline... They only needed to animate it, rather than tell it with a narration box.

I'd like to see these what ifs:

1-The Dragon Ball characters stay relevant.
Basically, it could start in the Sayan Saga, both Vegeta and Nappa dying on Earth, go to Namek, but without Super Saiyans, a Super Genki Dama kills Freeza. Then go to the Android Saga, but #20 is the final villain (because there's no time machine for Cell to go back to the past).

2-Goku's successor. Either the Buu Saga keeping Gohan as the main hero, or the Baby (or all of GT) saga with Uub as the main hero.

3-Dragon Ball's final match. A storyline keeping Piccolo as the main villain in a final battle against Goku, ignoring all the DBZ storylines, like Sayans, Aliens and new Androids.

Personally, I'd like to see the Tenshinhan/Yamcha fusion return. Maybe give it a bit more focus and center a story around it, rather than just "hey guys, here's a neat little extra".

I was never fond of that fusion. In the manga, Yamcha and Tenshinhan never seem to directly interact with each other after the Saiyan Saga. The anime added a few extra scenes, but they're all minor, like standing beside each other or drinking in the same table...

As far as what-if fusions go, I'd like to see the Goku/Gohan fusion, an older Gotenks and some kind of fusion for Uub. New absorptions for Super Buu and even some for Kid Buu would be welcomed too.

Well, Tenshinhan did beat Yamcha within an inch of his life and mess up his leg really well during the 22nd Tenka'ichi Budokai. Friends forever!

Trunks never came back during that time, did he? I thought it was yet to occur.

There are a few of What If Fusions I wouldn't mind seeing.

Gohan and Goku (Kuhan?)
Older Gotenks
Gohan and Uub (Gohuub? Uhan?)
Goten and Trunks using Potara Earings

What if Buu successfully absorbed Vegetto?
What if Gohan suvived the Trunks timeline and he went back in time instead of Trunks?
What if it was Buu who fell to earth and bumped his head instead of Goku? (No idea how this could happen, I just would find it amusing to see Buu in Gokus clothes defending Earth)

I think I want to draw fanart of some of my ideas.

I liked the Raditz story in Sparking! NEO. I would have actually rathered Raditz stand alongside Gokuu to fight Nappa and Vegeta, but the story in S!N ended on a sweet, sad note.

Zarbon's was just... dumb.

I thought the "world without Boo" one was kind of cool, too.
