Who are the strongest characters in Heroes?

Post by fadeddreams5 » Fri Oct 02, 2015 3:06 pm

I don't know anything about this game, but am aware that players use cards that, I assume, have power stats. So, based on this, does anybody know the top 5 strongest/most powerful characters in the series?

There are a lot to look through these days, and I'm not about to do that. lol

Like any card game though, the strength of the card depends on its stats, abilities, and the other cards you use them in conjunction with, etc. If you're just talking about outright stats though, it's pretty consistently the characters you would assume to be top tier: the gods, SS4s, fusions, the what-ifs, etc. This is especially true if the characters have transformation or fusion mechanics that often boost their stats higher than the normal versions of those characters without them.

I do know that Japanese fans were complaining on Twitter, back when the cards were released, that GDM3's SS3 Bardock: Xeno and Super Mira are broken though. I'm not too certain on why Bardock is included (as Google isn't a great substitute for a proper translation), but Super Mira has high stats and they become even higher when he transforms, plus his ability allows him to deal like triple damage to characters that that can't be "killed" in-game. It's absurd.

Also, the first card introduced for Pure Buu with Babidi absorbed has been banned from tournaments. No idea why though...

I'm mostly curious as to what has stronger stats: SSJG Goku or SSJ4 Goku? And where do those what-if characters (e.g. SSJ4 Broly, Baby Janemba, Super 17 w/ ___ absorbed) rank? :?

It really, really varies by card. I mean, there are SS4 Goku cards with a power stat around only 5000, while others without transformation mechanics can be around 7500. There's also SS4 Gogeta cards at both 7200 and 8300, which means that despite being a fusion, he can be weaker than SS4 Broli (a card at 8000), SS4 Goku (7800) and SS4 Vegeta (7700). So, I don't really think there's much stock in the power stats...

If it helps for that aspect though, the transformation stats for the stronger Saiyan forms are SS4 (+7000), SSG (+8000) and SSGSS (+9000). Whether one form ends up stronger than the other depends on the base power stat.
