Well, at least Rojas said they're working on it and that they don't have it YET which means that they will have it most likely next year as this is a new series and not a movie and Kai was announced in 2009 but not dubbed by Funi til 2010 so I guess we have to wait some more. They will end up getting it though

Yeah since we will probably have to wait next year. Funimation probably needs time to make sure the dub will be good and market the show.

I don't see a dub happening until U6 is already underway, maybe even longer since Kai could take priority over it.

Kai will more then likely be released before it so we shouldn't get our hopes up until Kai is released and seeing as it's not announced yet will probably have to wait at least half a year before they start releasing it which means we'll have to wait even longer for Super.

It is possible that FUNi have been negotiating with Toei over the Super license, and had assumed they would have it tied up by the panel today so they could announce it there.

But unfortunately, for whatever reason, they have not been able to seal the deal. Other than that, I do not understand why on earth they would want to talk about a show they haven't licensed in front of a live audience.

It's also odd FUNi never mentioned the panel today via social media whatsoever, previous panels have been regularly plugged.

The whole situation is just really strange, and all they've done is disappointed the fanbase and create negative publicity.

There's no way in hell they'd have the license to a show that's only gone on for 13 episodes at this point, especially since the show proceeding it still isn't done (Buu Kai). Anyone who honestly thought they would have a dub announced already was kidding themselves something fierce.

There was absolutely no way they would have had a dub done, but an announcement for the license was possible.

I'm intrigued by the divergence between how Toriyama says they got to train under Whis (Gokû offering food and Vegeta demanding to come along so Gokû couldn't leave him behind) with what's going to happen in Super (Vegeta going alone to train under Whis and Gokû chasing after two episodes later.)

Judging from episode 16 title,it seems like Vegeta is already Super Saiyan God when he become Whis' student,They would probably show it in flashback when the time skip is shown.Though I'm wondering how did he go to Whis' place since Goku is not with him so no Instant Transmission.

Episode 17 is Pan's birth, but judging by the title..will Goku miss it?

Some people dismissed 16-17 as "slice of life fillers" based on those short summaries, but the titles up to 18 are entirely focused on their training.

It looks like we might get to see a sparing match between Goku&Vegeta during their training.

Another thing it means is the arc will be it's own thing unlike BOG which was a stretched out version of the movie

Looks like any faint hope of Ultimate Gohan in the ROF retelling are dead in the water. The lack of Champa and Fem Whis are also a bit weird and disappointing.

The 1st picture is from BOG's movie so the one with Gohan as a ssj could be the same.

We also have Gohan in his orange dogi and Goten in his Buu Arc dogi with sleeves. It seems to be film themed in general, and just tossed Champa and Girl!Whis on the cover for "Super" marketability.

I can see that happening if Freeza doesn't lose his power like he did in the movie.

I doubt it. BoG arc didn't change anything major from the movie. Vegeta still went SS, Goku goes SS after SS, Gohan gets ko'd instantly etc etc Freeza arc will probably be the exact same.
