He's the first one introduced, then. I was sure they said 23 but I might be wrong.

Hellsing's Kouta Hirano was also watching, apparently. He commented on Twitter.

I'm surprised that they used the Yamamoto score.

Yeah, I hope they'll use it elsewhere. :D
Maybe prosecution about plagiarism is finished.

Maybe it is, I'm just hoping that since Toei apparently let Hoko X Tate use Yamamoto Kai tracks in their show that Toei will finally allow Kai fans to complete their collection of missing Yamamoto Kai pieces in one form or another. Speaking of which what all Yamamoto pieces did they use?
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).

I misremembered Tadayoshi Yamamuro as Shigeyasu Yamauchi.

Now I'm kinda glad I didn't try to introduce myself to him...

Don't wanna ruin your ideals, but it's probably because the show was aired in Japan and as such won't leave the Japan TV worldwide officialy. The biggest trouble with Kai score and the plagiarism, started when it started to air in USA with pieces which are directly plagiarised from Avatar and Terminator. Because of suspicion that Yamamoto plagiarised everything from western music he has ever done, they started to pull off the video games osts, DVD's and simply everything that can be imported.
So I'm sorry, that you won't get your soundtracks.

I really doubt that that is the case because I have heard his tracks occasionally on TV since soon after the so-called Yamamoto incident occurred. I guess it's just that they, including the staff of Hoko x Tate, are not aware of what happened to the score, and use it for their shows. By paying annually, the Japanese TV stations are allowed to use any pieces of music whose rights are controlled by JASRAC. They choose some CDs from their libraries, take some tracks from them, and put them on. They can use the Yamamoto score without noticing a story behind it. But if the show got a home video release, there'd be a problem for sure.

Shoot. I'm really bummed that I missed this. I'm assuming it's a violation of the rules to link to any archives / captures of the broadcast.

This guy's gazing at the new Toriyama artwork as if he's just found the Fountain of Youth.

I wonder what Toriyama's message says.

He says that for the pros (and himself), apart from the new movie DB is all just work they did a long time ago, so they've probably forgotten it all, and the fans should have this in the bag.

Which video game OST did they pull off because of that?

The Z/Budokai games got redone scores (Took music from the replacement scores of games that came after it.) for the HD re-release. Well, not really new; but, not the original Yamamoto score.

Oh, he meant that. I thought he was saying they were pulling off the actual CD release.

Raging Blast 2 including the opening. I have the original Yamamoto version, as I bought it like 2 months after release, but like year later when this happened, people noted, that they have OST from Budokai Tenkaichi 2, that was composed by different composer and some instrumental opening. They also cancelled the release of RB2 soundtrack.
The recent HD Budokai compilation have all Yamamoto score from the original games removed too.
