How do you know it's Ebola?? :O (I know nothing about ebola) It could just be a virus, and it's getting out of topic XD

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

Videl confirmed as support only :( Hope the game atleast has all the non-bonus characters from Shin Butouden as playable. Sprites still amazing, the vibrant colors are stunning.

Man, this thing is digging deep in terms of support characters, given that Turtle's confirmed now too. Wonder what the heck his support does...I'm predicting he blocks attacks with his shell or something, but man...I'd love it if he lays a little smackdown on your opponent, like he did in that to those guys that were after Maron. :P

The whole assist character thing is still kind of downer for me. I never like in the Ultimate Ninja Storm series and I'm sure as hell not gonna like it in Dragon Ball Z game, and on top of that being a 2D fighter so you have less opportunity to dodge the attacks from the assist character.

You should never ever ever trade your main console or handheld system. You are only going to regret it. I lost my SNES, N64, GBC, GBA, PS1, and PS2, and my NDS was damaged because of darn leaking from the roof due to heavy raining. I re-acquired SNES and N64 3 years ago and bought PS3 and 3DS. I thankfully also have GBC, GBA, and DS as emulators for my Android phone. You must always keep your systems around, even if you feel it's useless. They will only come back to haunt you.

I like how it looks like Goten is getting ready to punch Trunks in the back of the head.

Looks a lot like Hyper DBZ, as far as the sprites go.

Of course, I'm not complaining. 8)

You only have to type "JPN". It has same number of letters, after all.

And it made its way to the main page.

One more thing, is it "Super Extreme Butoden" or just "Extreme Butoden"? Just to be sure.

Both, confusingly enough!

The kanji says "超究極武闘伝" ("Chō Kyūkyoku Butōden," or "Super Ultimate/Extreme/Whichever Butōden"), while the kana literally just spells it out as "エクストリーム ぶとうでん" ("Extreme Butōden"). People generally refer to the kana when trying to find out how to pronounce things, so that's why most everybody is just calling it "Extreme Butōden," despite the kanji also saying "Super."

Either is fine. :)

I wouldn't say "either is fine". It's clearly intended to be pronounced one way. The kanji is there to provide a meaning to Japanese speakers who might not know the word "extreme". For all intents and purposes, it's named in English (well, despite "Butōden" not being an English word...).

Cold Skin wrote:I'm glad that they are trying 2D sprites again, although the sprites' style look more like Hyper Dragon Ball Z than the anime itself.
The portraits (bottom screen of the 3DS) do look like the anime though.

I'd like to see sprites like that, looking like the anime. I think it would feel a bit like "controlling" the anime in a new way.

It looks like they took the sprites from that game. I like how Hyper DBZ looks and plays, i just don't care for the art style of the characters.
