I think we haven't even seen all they've had since before the end of kai, we stil haven't seen scenes from the preview of super. they had a lot pre made and planned out. we still have yet to see champa on beerus' planet which should be coming up soon.

That scene was most likely made just for the trailer, we got the real deal in ep 28.
And you don't know what's "Toei canon" and what's not, that's all just your headcanon, there is no official one, like for Star Wars.
