Has he called anyone "people popcorn" yet? I fel like I'm seeing this whole "Goku's dumber than ever in Super" thing a lot. Maybe it's on purpose. Maybe in the end, it'll be revealed that all of Goku's ordeals have been diminishing his mental capacity and giving him some mental disorder. Now that would be a strange twist. The ending could be that he thought up all of GT in his room while playing with sticks that represent people.

But has Goku really matured since Dragonball? In Super he is as gullible, naive, and childish as I have ever seen him.
What I meant was seeing his life from being a little kid in the woods to becoming one of the strongest in the universe. His personality never really changed too much, but thats sort of just his character.

That has nothing to do with development, it's just bad writing.

In Z he was very mature compared to his DB self but instead of continuing that they made him more childish than he was in DB, throwing out all the development he went through in the previous arcs.

He was less naïve due to having seen more than Mt. Paoz, but I wouldn't consider him more mature. What development are you referring to?

Everything, from the time Bulma found him in the woods till he defeated Kid Buu but in Super that's all been forgotten and he's been turned into a complete idiot who has 0 personality and doesn't care about anyone but himself which is a far cry from the original's Goku.

That doesn't answer the question, other than becoming a little less ignorant, Goku's personality doesn't really change. What specific development are you referring to?

And saying he has zero personality is pure hyperbole.

Everything Goku went through and the characters he met changed him throughout the manga.

The change didn't happen right away but he gradually went from an ignorant kid who didn't know the difference between males and females to a hero who everyone could depend on.

He was always a hero people could depend on. The only thing that changed was he became a little less ignorant because he had experience in the world. He meets new people, but he doesn't change, he just gets stronger.

Saying Goku didn't change is like saying Vegeta is still the same person he was during the Saiyan arc.

Well, Czech Republic went with Dragon Ball GT only and still, nobody was watching at late night slot, so no harm was done
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

It's not at all. Goku doesn't have some grand change of heart or some huge revelation that forever alters his character. He's still the jovial, battle loving, food inhaling guy he always was, but with just a little more knowledge. Vegeta goes from villain who wants to destroy or rule the world to guy who would give his life to protect his family and his adopted homeworld, he also lets go of his insecurities and animosity towards Goku.

It's not like you have to watch DB before DBZ. DBZ already reference OG Dragon Ball a lot especially in the anime.

Sure it would add to the experience but it's not like watching DBZ first would leave you lost.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Because the plot is simple.
