It confirms Seripa as a playable character (when Broly transforms, she's the character at the top left), Hell as a playable level and 17 absorbed by Cell.
That narrator voice sounds... bad... much like the D.O.N narrator voice 0.o

This game seems to improve upon nearly everything I hated in the last game. But..there are a few things that make me want to scream.. :-/

1. I'm fighting a giant ape. WHY isn't it a giant? It's a few inches taller than Piccolo and 100x slower. I'm hoping that somewhere down the road they decide to fix the scale. I shouldn't be seeing the giant ape's whole body, all I should be able to see is it's feet.

2. Who's bright idea was it to make Master Roshi, DB Goku, Hercule, and other non-flying characters unplayable? In NEO's story mode I wanted to smash my controller, simply because the game DEFAULTS you to flying. How is Hercule VS. Android 18 a fair match when:

1. Hercule can't even stay in the air after throwing a few punches, leaving him venerable to attacks.(?)
2. His punches can't even make her flinch?

I guess because it's NOT a fair match. Going for some sense of story-related realism, I guess.

By the way, I'm surprised nobody has posted the interview stating that the original musics will be in the US version yet...

(Or has it been posted ? I haven't seen it.)

This was already adressed by Spike a shortly after the game was announced. They said that they can't put the giants to scale and still keep the game playable. Which makes sense. And they're a lot bigger than a 'few inches taller than Piccolo' Try about 2 to 3 times taller.

I wasn't trying to get too technical, but my point was that they weren't that "big". (In my opinion, of course.) Thanks for answering my questions, though. Now I see that they'll have to make the next game on a next-gen console before they would be able to address some of the problems I have with the current game.

I didn't know the Japanese music was going to be in the U.S. version of Meteor. I was getting tired of all the generic rock/techno music in NEO, so the Japanese music will be a welcomed addition.

It's not even a matter of system power. The PS2 can manage that just fine. The issue is mechanics. Making the giants to scale would simply make them unplayable.

Where did you hear that? I'm sure this board would have been all over it by now.

Over on the Atari Community forums, Ciel (the administrator) had a Q & A with a representative from Namco Bandai and Donnie Clay and they confirmed this....ALTHOUGH, I felt that they were kind of vague about it, though I assume the original score will make its appearance in the US/NA version.

One other interesting note on that same subject however is that when asked if there would be any Japanese vocals in the game, Clay was quick to point out that there would not be, while the Namco Bandai rep seemed to ask if the "fans" would like to have Japanese vocals in the game.

Apparently the Q & A session came in 3 parts, and while parts 1 & 2 were nothing special, the final one was a little interesting. Guess we'll find out soon enough...

Think he means facial expressions. Also, why did Satan still have a jet pack in BT2, but couldn't even fly? Laaaazy.

They had facial expressions in BT 2 as well though. At least when they got hit they did.

They could have a non-playable boss type battle with scale size giant characters. We have a story mode why not use it properly. Every battle feels like every other battle and some non-important fights were more difficult than the important ones.

Well, it is... on every other DB boards I've seen.
This is why I'm surprised nobody posted it here.
