I'll admit this is strictly my own fault. I was taken out of the video a bit because I know Atemu can enact "games" other than Duel Monsters with Cell. Or, using his original incarnation, he can summon monsters himself. I did enjoy the section about official tournament rules though!

But yeah, Yugioh Season Zero abridged gives some pretty good examples of the bullshit Atem does in the early part of the story. Old-School Yugi would have Cell running around screaming at the imaginary bugs stinging his brain or something.
