Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

I never pay much attention to songs related, as Dragon Ball never dissapoints me on this. The sounds that don't get my attention are at least enjoyable and fun. I really liked what I heard in Battle of Gods (I even have two favorites ones from that movie), and I'm sure I will like whatever I will listen to in Fukkatsu no F.

I wonder what would happen if Sumitomo re-orchestrated some kikuchi leitmotifs, like the eerie sci fi synth track that plays in the dr wheelo movie and freeza saga, If he did that well, it would pay homage to classic dbz.

Yeah, like quality control in toei has been any good XD, But one can dream.

I really hope we get more good tracks....the one's in Kai he does range from good, to ok, to bad, to reaaaaaally baaaaad.

His tracks for Kai are way better than his Battle of Gods ones for me. It's just that the music placement for Kai must have been made extremely quickly. There are many tracks we have already heard in the Japanese version but did appear in the International Version after episode 135 (Buu kills Babidi) and there are still some. It was like they were asking from Sumitomo to give them everything he had by that time in order to make the music placement as quick as possible.

Shunsuke Kikuchi made Dragon Ball with his brilliant soundtrack. For me he is someone like John Williams is for Star Wars, even though in GT they changed to Akihito Tokunaga but I also liked GT soundtrack too

I hope so, it'd be a missed opportunity if he didn't since he is around SSJ2 level (I think), but then again I suppose Frieza's way beyond that point now so it could be pointless.

I'd love to see that but based on the poster I doubt he's going to have a big role in the story.

I'd like to ask to the people of this thread, what are you anticipating the most out of this movie? I'm looking forward to seeing Goku and Vegeta training with Whis.

The fights.
Vegeta finally taking down Freeza.
The training will be very interesting for both sides.
The interactions between Freeza and the Z fighters.
The new attacks Goku,Vegeta and Freeza will have.
The tease we'll probably get for the 3rd movie.

I'm mainly looking forward to:

- Anything involving Android 18
- Frieza back in action and mocking the Z Fighters like old times
- Original Z Fighters having a more active role (Promo material seems to indicate this)
- Piccolo back in action (Piccolo without his cape usually indicates this)
- Potential interactions between Frieza and Kid Trunks
- Whis' training with Goku and Vegeta

Since you specified "Japan", I don't know. But Brazil will receive Jurassic World before United States. And last year, Brazil also received the Guardians of the Galaxy before United States.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure about a case like this either (especially involving Dragon Ball), but movies being screened in other countries before they are released in their homeland happens fairly often. For example, Age of Ultron is being released on May 1st in the US, but has releases across the rest of the world as early as April 22nd.

I just hope it is true because we do not receive any news about this movie since the trailer. Not even the voice actors were confirmed (the original cast). Brazil has problems with dubbing. While you guys even got the extended version of Battle of Gods in DVD, here we got the DVD with a whole new cast of dubbing. It was a total chaos.

I doubt it but with Db being an international popular show I'm not going to rule it out and hopefully it is true cause the more countries that get it the higher the chances are of us getting a leaked version on the net.

This is going to be awesome! Just read the opening of Fukkatsu no F. Freeza potentially has a 5th form now?! I never got Coolas 5th form, it looks like the 2nd form just with a mask on. Wasn't impressed, was more confused. Vegeta and Goku is fucking training with Beerus and Whis too!!? Hype train officially took off for me.
