I've been at this for eight years, and I don't really see myself stopping because it's still fun.
Oh, wow! I encountered your work on dA years ago. It's nice to see you've found your way here; that's really awesome! Welcome, Miss Velasa! :D
Art, etc. links taken down for now. Will be updated at some point. I dunno.

... Oh, for Christ's sake, pipe down a bit on that. That's no way to welcome someone who's just come onto the forum and shared her work for others to see. You may not like some of the stuff she draws, but there are more polite ways of expressing what you think about them.

Let's keep the 4chan-reminiscent retardedness out of here, please? :/

Mmmyes, quite. *adjusts monocle* I daresay, young miss, that these artistic merits of yours leave something to be desired in forms of faithfulness to the original creation, whatever their quality as standalone works (which I must say, is quite good). Might I inquire as to your reasoning for introducing sexual dimorphism into a species known to have no concept of gender, as all reproduce through asexual means?

*shrugs* I've got an explenation for them from when I started, but mostly it's more fun this way. But that's why I call it an AU when I'm using them.

Well... personally I LOVE Velasa's artwork. And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it said that GURU'S CHILDREN are sexless? Piccolo wasn't a child of Guru. ALSO, the ship Kami was sent to earth in had a toilet, so how do you know what he has down there?

It's established that all Namekians are asexual, and reproduce asexually (when they reproduce at all, that is). Piccolo is no exception, as he was spawned asexually from Piccolo Daimao.

Of course, none of that matters in a fan work, or at least it doesn't need to. People should draw what they want to.

*nods* opinion noted and respected for its difference. But since I don't like tea, I'll have some hot chocolate.

Reasoning is partially that I was 13 and partially from my nameccian creation myth. My first female nameccian was sent as a sign and a dream-message carrier from above before the storms came to try to tell people to get their asses in gear and move. I have another one who was born from the dragonballs. All my other females in that timeline are their children. As to the asexual thing, I pretty much ignored that because I was in love with Piccolo and forgot about it. I really need to work out a better reasoning for that part some day > >

Thanks everybody ^^ I'm slowly working my way through the rest of this post to see what everybody else's got up, it's just gonna take a while.

I think you guys will enjoy this the most:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcIHQXErQxw

It's a parody of the Goku vs. Freeza part of DBZ.

But it's animated in South Park style. Thanks to the help of the person who does the South Park animations for me, this was made. ComedyLiker23 did the animation.

Some of the jokes are making fun of the dub. Others are jokes everyone would get. Also the Japanese terms are used so instead of "Super Saiyan" it's "Super Saiya-jin" except for Krillin since, no matter how much I tried to say Kuririn I screwed up.

Me and my brother have made a little club, called the 'MB Corporation'. It's just between me and him... although, by posting it's existence on the internet, everyone can know about it! :P 'MB' stands for 'Muscle Brothers', and is meant to represent all the things we love- like anime, music, video games, and body-building. We even made a logo, with one variation featuring Trunks! Here's the original:

Here's the Trunks version:

Cool, eh? We're thinking of making caps and shirts and stuff. 8)

Then I did this one for my boyfriend. It's his character/persona thing. I know not a lot are into this kind of thing, but I just like how it looks ^_^

First time posting pics, hope it works

Your stuff is really good, I like how it conveys "totally ripped" without the kinda goofy-looking muscle definition the show has.

On the Vegetto pic though, it looks like his pecs are off-line with where the bulge in his gi is.

Thanks Freeza! I'm a big fan of Freeza-era Super Saiya-jin Son Goku's style. Always so epic.

And thanks to you Rocketman. Always love the constructive critisism :D And the compliment helps too ^_^ Yeah, I don't do that kind of "super ripped" thing unless it's of course from strain, i.e. actually transforming or just Majin Vegeta kind of thing.

I'll see if I can get some more up later after school tonight. I did a bad-ass Super Saiya-jin 2 Son Gohan during class so I'll do some cleaning on it and ink it.
