I haven't watched much anime to tell, but... are there any cases where men voice female characters that aren't meant for laughs? if there are, what are some examples?...

Women voicing male characters is common place, especially boys or boyish characters like Goku, Naruto, Luffy, Shinji, Edward Elric, etc.
But men voicing women..i can't remember when it wasn't used just for gags or joke characters. And the way Masakazu Morita voices Whis is probably the most feminine he can do already.

Oh yes, I almost forgot about their ''having sex'' Happy Meal commercials!

"Chiaotzu" (the Wade-Giles transliteration of 餃子) and "Jiaozi" (the Pinyin transliteration of 餃子) are both pronounced exactly the same way; FUNimation's English dub happens to get this one 100% accurate.

"Chaozu" is a transliteration of the Japanese pronunciation guide (the furigana above the kanji spelling out チャオズ) of the Chinese characters into our alphabet. There is no reason to spell it that way at all when you have the Chinese transliteration available to you which works perfectly.

I have no doubt that Yamadera Koichi would do an excellent job if he was the one given the role of Shampa... Vados though is a woman and it would be weird if she was voiced by a man

They personified a bunch of Sanrio characters that were formerly little walking meat-head creatures, but kept the voice actors. That salmon character has a male voice actor, but they decided when they personified it to make the character female, but keep the same voice actor.

That's the only example I have though, so it's a rare situation.

Also, to tie this back further into DB, the voice actor in question also voiced Jaco in the Vomic that came out a while back.

Same here, but I like Yuriko Yamaguchi for Vados. (Detective Conan and Nurse Joy from Pokemon). She can sound both very playful and serious.

There's a F Arc episode name list roaming around fb, I don't know about it, has any episode list officialy come out? Because if this is true, Tagoma won't die in super until atleast the battle with the Z fighters

That was already kind of discussed before this page. The image the titles originated on seemed more than fake, but the first title did end up being correct. So, who knows where we stand right now until we get a proper magazine scan or text 2ch leak as in previous months.

I see, thanks a lot for the help I usually don't follow the episode name list as to don't get spoiled, but I am one of those who dread the thought of F arc being shortened.

I'm excited the F arc is going to go at a fast pace. I'm super curious to see what they're doing with Tagoma and what they mean by Freeza's army attacking Gohan. I was thinking the F arc would last into next year, but it looks like it could very well end sometime in December, we might even get the first post F episode as our first 2016 episode.

I don't think it's ending in December (especially if the episode titles from the last page or wherever are correct). I'm also not really seeing this "faster pace" most people are talking about for the time being. Beerus' arc didn't dwell on the party too much before the action started. Likewise, Golden Freeza isn't really dwelling on the stuff prior to his revival either, but the fight content will probably get the SSG Goku vs. Beerus treatment. We're probably looking at 2-3 soldier episodes (especially if that leak from the previous pages was right about Tagoma...and Ginyu, but ignoring that for now), and at least an episode for Goku vs. Freeza, one for SSGSS Goku vs. Freeza, and then one for the SSGSS Vegeta and Earth destroying bits. Though I imagine it will be drawn out longer. Maybe...

Episode 22 - Tagoma?
Episode 23 - Shisami?
Episode 24 - Goku vs Freeza?
Episode 25 - Vegeta gets impatient?
Episode 26 - SSGSS Goku vs. Golden Freeza?
Episode 27 - Reveal of Freeza's weakness?
Episode 28 - Ends with Goku getting shot?
Episode 29 - SSGSS Vegeta, Earth & time rewind shenanigans?

Even if you condense 22+23 and 27+28, you still end up on the second week of January (excluding potential breaks). And none of this accounts for potential Champa and Kaioshin material possibly taking focus either.
