Ditto. It's good to see FUNi give it a more proper treatment, but that's how it's been with most of the video games. Just more evidently so with Burst Limit (minus the whole 9000 meme).

I like that they kept 9000. Every piece of dialouge from the original is there, word for word.
Just throwing the fans a bone I think.
I was playing it with a few friends, and when that scene came on, they were just looking at the screen, and I burst into a fit of laughter. And they were clueless.

I have the EU version. The opening has the song. And in story mode you unlock the full japanese and english versions to play whenever you like.

Do you mean play as you like, as in the bonus credits? Or is there actually a BGM select mode?

The credits, sadly. In Z Chronicles you do fight Goku as Bardock and it plays the instrumental version in the background, but that's the only place you can hear it in a battle, you can't select it otherwise.

Did anybody else lose their shit why they heard the ENGLISH version of the song when they defeated Bardock? I think its
Original version when you beat Cell
English version when you beat Bardock
Instrumental when you beat Goku (as Broli)

Oh my god, Sean Schemmel's Goku is unbelievable in this Freeza/SSJ Goku scene. I think I might actually play the game dubbed.

Speaking of the games, we can see Yamcha's distaught face even more than we did in the anime

and the BxV fangirls that get the game are going to have such fun seeing his sad face when their Vegeta kicks him, they'd have to duck for cover.

Y'know when everyone was saying this I brushed it off as a "ho hum dubbies patting themselves on the back" sort of thing. Let me be the first doubter to say THIS is the dub Goku I always wanted in the show. Sean is a fucking BEAST in these cut scenes if only the actual show was dubbed this well! Anyone who hasn't watched the dub cutscene yet PLEASE check it out, Seans voice acting hits a whole new level as an enraged Goku here IMO.

Bardock vs Goku was awesome, and kind of touching. The music just completely topped it all off.
It was a nice little what if, whereas I feel Broly's went on way too long, I think he had more fights himself than the whole Saiyan Saga...

Anyone else think it was stupid how he went from fighting Krillin to SSJ2 Gohan to Trunks/Vegeta/Piccolo?

Seriously, SSJ2 Gohan should have atleast been the penultimate fight, it seems like Broly had a lot more trouble with Vegeta in the drama pieces/little cutscenes than he ever did with Gohan...

I felt the whole Broly what-if scenario was pretty poor. They could have used that slot to be a little more creative...

Although the rest of the game was much better overall.

I just watched the Bardock "what-if" myself. I know it's a fighting game but I wish the dialogue gave them more of a reason to fight. I'm mainly looking at the Kurririn Vs. Bardock scenario that went-

Kurririn: You aren't Goku!
Bardock: You're right!
Kurririn: "HOW DARE YOU NOT BE GOKU!"

*Fight!*

Anyway I really loved Bardock's voice performance too. It seemed the V.A's for some odd reason went all out for this game.

Ok, Drama Pieces.
They're BEGGING to piss me off.
I've actually had a few cases where I have lost a match because of my OWN drama piece. It'd interupt an attack which I would have won the match with.
I know some are cool, but after you've seen it once, you've seen it.
I hope drama pieces do not make it into the next Burst Limit, the just cut away from the main game too much.
Does this game want to be a hardcore fighter, or a Dragonball simulator, I don't mind either way, but for fucks sake Dimps, make up your mind.

Unlocking the drama pieces is the hardest part, you have no clue or hint as to what to do, what conditions to fulfill or anything. What's worse is when you get one to appear (like Piccolo's regeneration) and you LOSE the match still.

I stopped in last week when everyone here said they had it. I told the girl I was playing it of and picking it up, I also bought a couple of other things. I guess she didn't hear me and just had me pay it off. Afterwards I asked for the T-shirt that came with the preorder and she went in the back and returned syaing that it was out this week.

I went in today and I guess they don't get things on the release date like every other store because some people on Gamefaws went to Walmart and got theirs after midnight. Some even before midnight.
