Yeah, that's it in a nutshell.
That also ties into the whole "god energy can't be sensed" thing. Birus turns up on Earth without anywhere sensing his approach at all.

Did Piccolo sensed Bills at any point? That would be the final nail on the whole Shin vs him issue.

Haha!! It's great to finally see some Vegeta dancing. And I guess Toriyama doing the whole daft punk thing and I mean hiding your face. Maybe it's some weird way to entice.

That's not what it says.
It's rephrasing something Fuyuto Takeda said on the
Mandō Kobayashi program that aired Sunday night. Toriyama apparently hates inking so much that he gets a rash when he tries to do it.
Basically, it's an exaggeration of what we already knew, which is that he has no desire to continue drawing manga of his own, much less something serialized.

I think in this case, it's probably a natural way to avoid.
I love you love Mashirito.

I can live with Birus only if were to be pronounced "beer-us" instead of "bye-rus." The latter just sounds awkward to me, the former is at least tolerable.
I still can't accept "Uis" for Whis, though.. how would you even pronounce that?
Man, I wish Bells and Whistles had been correct, or even Beers and Whisky... Virus twins is kinda meh. Well I feel like some things just don't translate well.. is it ok if I keep spelling it Bills?

Re: Toriyama's neck-down camera angle.
I still wonder if that blue sweatsuit he's got on isn't the inspiration for Goku's blue sweatsuit in the movie. X3 I mean, they look similar, and he did model Birus after his cat.
Re: Julian
If it's a literal rash, that explains why he switched to digital drawing/inking/coloring. Even if it's not literal, it drives home even more why he decided to save on inking-time by making ssj hair not inked.
Re: Herms
I can't wait to see how the whole scene plays out. I didn't realize everyone would be watching his act; how embarrassing for him. X3
Also, I like the "Birus" spelling. It's close enough to the spelling I've been using for the past several months (Birusu) that it's not that big of a jump.
I do miss "Beers" though; that would've been awesome.
Re: fogdark:
Same here. X3
That's what he gets for not joining the party sooner. XD

Uis following Japanese pronunciation would be Whee-s. And Birus would be something along the lines of Bee-roos/Beer-us with the Japanese pronunciation rules.
I'm the opposite, I hate the Bills romanization.

I noticed that listening to the snippets, haha.
Track 34, reminded of one of the tracks you used for the Sumitomo Score on Bojack's Death video.

Unless Kei failed to mention it, it doesn't seem as if Piccolo recognizes Birus at all, or otherwise senses anything strange about him. He does though spot right away that Goku hasn't properly become a god during that first failed attempt at Super Saiyan God, maybe a reference to his expertise as former God of Earth.

There's a failed attempt to Super Saiyan God?
So, Herms, anything in the notes about Gohan's fringe?

Great, Piccolo >>> Shin still stands then.

So Toriyama stopped drawing manga because he doesn't like inking? Why doesn't someone else ink for him? No wonder he quit, it would have been so stressful having to write, pencil, ink,and letter all by yourself in very little time. Honestly, I'm surprised he didn't quit sooner, that's ridiculous.

I'm beyond thrilled that we finally know the freakin' name puns! I'm still trying to figure out what I want to call them, though. Considering all they did was shorten "ビールス" to "ビルス," I guess it would be most accurate to simply call him "Vrus" or "Virs." But that looks like absolute crap, so I dunno. And considering the source of the pun, I'd really rather spell his name with a "V" instead of the "B" we've all been using for months, so I'm not 100% fond of "Birus." No idea what to call the other guy, either, considering it's basically the same dilemma. "Uius?" "Uis?" They're both tricky.
... Although I did enjoy calling them Billy and Willy.

Maybe they will arrange it so that he will write the story, draw concepts, and then direct the artists involved. That would probably be a cake walk for him, considering what he had to do before.

I think he means that if Piccolo couldn't sense the godly ki in the movie, then it's likely that he didn't with Kaioshin during the Budokai, and only quit because he knew he was a higher being, instead of because of his power.
