Normal Goku has Divine Lasso? I mean it makes sense since it's an attack that his body is capable of. But that's kind of out of character for him.

Well, finally got around to playing it, unlocked SSGSS, and Divinity Unleashed is certainly one way to help mitigate the Ki drain. Its temporary, but, it can do a good job of keeping you relatively full.

1. Does anyone know if using the dual ults increases the dual meter? Because the intro text implies only bringing them on missions is the way to raise it. And by extension nothing you do in the mission makes a difference.

2. If you have “DUAL Spirit Ball” and Yamcha has “Spirit Ball” you can dual it.... But Yamcha can also equip “DUAL spirit ball”

Is there any difference at all to this? Any benefit or downside at all?

1) I don't know for sure if using it helps the meter, but I'd be willing to bet it does. I've been using it constantly in the PQ's anyway, and it seems to be moving it up pretty fast. Overall though, it could just be that this bar is a hell of a lot easier to fill up than the previous Mentor bar. Thank Kami for that too - it took me FOREVER to get every mentor maxed before.

I'm still curious too if the new bar leads to anything other than a higher damage output for their particular Dual Ultimate. Guess I'll find out soon enough. Anyway -

2) I think equipping your partner/mentor character with the DUAL version allows them to also have the option of starting up the DUAL Ultimate, so that it's not down to just you trying to start it up.

Not anymore. I've just pick Pan as my mentor and it took three or four missions to get it maxed. To get Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is a lot faster than what it would be prior to this update.

...S-So...I struggled against all odds to max out all the mentors to get all their marks prior to this update, and I mean STRUGGLED to do so (Bojack in particular was a real ass that seemed to refuse to level up for me for some reason), and this update has made what I did a hell of a lot easier?!

...On the one hand, I'm glad because that means maxing mentors (not all of them, just select ones) with my secondary characters will be a lot easier and less hellish. On the other hand...ALL THAT HARD WORK. I dunno if I wanna laugh or cry.

I think earlier in the thread (and maybe one of the update things when you first start the game up again? Can't remember for sure), someone says that all you need is to max Whis's friendship bar (and likewise have completed all his missions I'd assume), and be Lv. 90, and you'll get the skill. I don't think you even have to be on a Saiyan character to unlock it (just have to be a Saiyan to use it of course).

Can't confirm for sure since I already had everyone maxed so it would have popped for me regardless, but I think it's just Whis and be Lv. 90.

As for why it's easier, they likely realized how mind-numbingly long it takes to max everyone. A pity they couldn't have realized that prior to my brain leaking out the side of my ears though.

Exactly why I didnt do it in XV2. After getting everything in XV1 i wanted to kill myself so I got the bare minimum for the platinum in XV2 lol

I got the skill yesterday so I can confirm it's just Whis. He's the only mentor I have maxed out, and all I did was finish his training and grind his initiation test about 10-15 times, I think.

As far as I'm concerned, you need only Whis maxed out.

Damn, was hoping for an archived version...

I recommend waiting for it to drop. It's tons of fun, with tons of different paths on the Tokipedia. Most of it well worth to experience in-game for the first time.
