Anyone knows how to exactly get a Z rank? I get lots of achievements on my score, and still not get a Z rank, it's harder online! I literally had more than 10 of those achievements and still got a b! getting a z rank online is harder for some reason...

So, is there some sort of trick to making the final training thing for a mentor pop up? Cuz as far as I can tell, Piccolo, Krillin, and Vegeta should all be ready to give me that final lesson any time now...but they're not. They just talk to me, whenever I can get them to pop up at all, in the city. Don't tell me this is tied to that damned RNG too...

Edit: Okay, got Vegeta to finally test me for Mastery, so maybe I just hadn't used moves of his enough yet.

Oh, I think I found out something. Thunder Eraser Skill got from Dragon Balls that is classified as a ki blast skill, might be a strike skill instead. I have 100 into my ki blast, and I do tons of damage with my big bang attack that is strong enough to one shot krillin, tien and yamcha in preparing for the saiyans quest. While using Thunder Eraser does MUCH less damage. I know it hits once, but it should atleast one shot.

That, or it's a terrible skill. XD

Does anyone have an All-Regen Shard? I have been searching every PQ I enter for one to give to Freeza so I can finish my training. No matter how many items I pick up across the maps though, I just can't find one of these damn things. It's worse than the Dragon Balls at this point.

I might be wrong, and it might be a mixing catalyst, but I know I've gotten all-regen items from the mixing store before.

Dammit Gohan and Videl your fetch quest sucks. I'm trying to get the "I'm....okay" item, but the mission is so damn long. I beat it after long lengths of beating tons of foes, and the item won't drop. It's really annoying. Especially since this quest has the mission where Goku and Gohan spam the crap out of Super Kamehameha once you get to them.

I finally beat that mission with some help from people online (though man am I not a fan of the mics being on...), so now I'll be able to take some AI people with me to help beat the mission again and hopefully get the items I need.

...But that's all for tomorrow. When did it get to be almost 2AM?!

Whoever translated this game into English needs to be fired. The descriptions for Z souls and attacks are constantly incorrect or incredibly hard to understand or at the least just bad English. One example I can think of is Reinforcement skills, the game doesn't even call them that.

Firstly, IGN have given Xenoverse a very harsh score. I got the feeling they never really cared about it and could have quite easily not reviewed it at all.

Also, I've been looking at the DLC. It's £20 on the PS Store for the Season Pass. What's the thoughts on this? Do we think it's worth it for what we're going to be getting?

I'm considering it simply because of how much I'm enjoying the game, but wouldn't mind some input from others!

Dammit Gohan and Videl your fetch quest sucks. I'm trying to get the "I'm....okay" item, but the mission is so damn long. You needn't suffer through the entirety of that particular mission repeatedly. That Z-Soul is a drop from Videl during that Glacier segment of the PQ, so if you don't see anything about getting an equip after defeating her, you can just pause then retry and do it over till it drops.

Finally beat PQ55 and unlocked all the characters. Decided to try the same trick I used to win the Bardock survival mission, and it worked after a couple of attempts with using the Reacoom's Ultra Miracle Bomber and all the opponents crowding together. I wasn't certain if I would get the Fiendish Broli from that quest or not; even if you did, I didn't know if I would have to actually make it to his part of the quest. Fortunately everything was okay with just defeating Vegeta. I can rest easy now, until the DLC...

It's not a harsh score really, if you check the last page I list several problems with the game. Some of them are only prevalent with the PC version. But really this game is a step backwards in terms of gameplay mechanics. At least in comparison to the Raging Blast games, the recent games like the kinect game and Ultimate Tenkaichi were also pretty poor. The only real selling point of this game is the character customisation and the unique story.
