Just to be clear, Toei is responsible for BoG and RoF as well. They've produced every piece of DB animation. Takao Koyama wrote the scripts for the first 13 DBZ movies, so if you want to distinguish between them and these two recent ones, calling the old ones the "Koyama movies" would work much better.Kakarot9001 wrote:How can you compare TOEI Movies with BoG and RoF?
(In fact, if we were to call the first 13 DBZ movies the "Koyama canon", this would be a far more traditional use of the word "canon" than how it's typically used in fandom. But this would probably just confuse people who are only used to the fandom definition.)
That's right. Ryusei Nakao has said in interviews that he pictured Freeza as a member of the Kuge, a Japanese aristocratic class.radrappy wrote:Perfect. If I'm not mistaken, Freeza's Japanese voice has the speech mannerisms of an aristocrat.Kakarot9001 wrote:Not really. Chris Ayres is bad at doing Freeza's voice... He sounds like a british polite with white dress and ice tea
