Linda young's Freeza is completely incompetent and terrible. Her frieza is the same as her Genkai! and her Genkai sounds like a pot smoking old hag.

I guess I probably like Young more because I grew up with that voice but Ayres is a very good choice of voice.

I do dislike Cells voice though, in Xenoverse anyway, I dunno if it's the same voice as in Kai (which I've never watched)

In my opinion they both fail miserably when compared to the Japanese voice.

As others have mentioned, Young does wonderfully when cast for roles she's suited for. Freeza was not one of those roles. I can't wait to hear Ayres and Nakao again in this movie.

I preferred Linda Young for the longest, and thought Chris Ayres' Freeza sounded like a complete wankah. However, with time, it's grown on me, and I like it a bit more now.

Even when DBZ was at its prime, I always heard people complaining about Freeza's voice. It was easy to mistaken him for a chick, so I'm glad they took action with Kai.

So I was re-reading my old tweets (for...some reason or another), and it seems that the Battle of Gods threads was at less than 444 pages when Kei started posting up his reports from the advance screening. We still haven't gotten any advance screening for RoF, but this thread is at nearly 600 pages. Not entirely sure what that means, but there you have it.
