Dragon Ball Season 1- Review, Screenshots, and Contest

Well, I just finished watching the first two discs of this set, and overall I am happy with it.

One snag though, In the episode "Oolong the Terrible" The dvd froze right after he turned into the bull and locked my DVD player so I had to power it off to stop it. At first I was pretty angry, I checked the disc no scratches or blemishes of any kind, so I tried it in another DVD player, and there was no problem at all. The DVD player I was using is a little old and I do recall this happening once before with some other DVD but I can't remember what DVD it was.
So I guess look out for that potential problem.

Also, for some reason, the "cleanliness" of the first 13 episodes isn't all that great, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't DVNR'd at all. But Episode 14 "Goku's Rival" suddenly looks a lot sharper. Very strange IMO.

You know... I REALLY wana get these now... But at the same time, I just KNOW I'll spend a ton of money buying them... and then FUNimation will be all like "HEY DRAGONBALL FANS!! ROSHI HERE!! I'd say if you have the other 11 bricks, don't skip these since it's got the first 13 episodes... or wait like two years and see if they put out the DB Box.

NO WAY! Funimation you useless, mean, cruel, money-grabbin, nasty people!!! First you rob me of my wallet when I buy the orange brick boxsets and you release the dragonbox... Then you decide once I have collected all the sets, to release precious dragonball excluding season 2... That means I can't watch it in my room!

I have a Sony dvd player which does not like being cracked into to become multi-regional, so i'm hoping it will play downstairs if I buy it...
