Who says that it was? I've always took them freaking out as more of a reaction to Goku and Vegeta's attitude moreso that them freaking out at the breaking of the earrings themselves. I mean, we see Kaioshins materializing stuff all the time, and the earrings had to come from somewhere.

Well, I disagree, because I think they're treated as much more special than that would imply in-story (e.g. Kibitoshin offering Goku his pair instead of just spawning new ones, Old Kai calling them ultimate secret weapons, Goku regretting breaking the only pair that was left).

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Fair enough. I just don't think that Goku's reaction should really have any bearing on this. What does he know?

Expanding on my previous post Omega Shenron can destroy the universe (which is just 4 galaxies?) while calling Whis a galaxy buster is kinda generous. Also I have SSJ Vegetto at a 3, SSJ2 Vegetto a 6, and SSJ3 at 24.

EDIT: Kaioken Goten vs Goku? How much would he need?
Canon is Jaco, Dragon Ball except for EoZ, Dragon Ball Super anime and manga (both are separate canons)
Kai >>> Z
Current Roshi/Kulilin >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> SSJ3 Gotenks

We don't know where the Potara come from. Do Kaioshin materialize them? Apparently not. There is probably a place where they create them or something.

Omega Shenron can destroy the universe (which is just 4 galaxies?)
...I'm fairly sure this was more of an "all this negative energy will eventually build up and spread out even further and break down the universe" sort of situation, not a "he can literally blow up the whole universe just like that if he tries (in the same way that Roshi can destroy a moon, or Freeza can destroy a planet, or Super Perfect Cell can destroy a sun/solar system)" sort of thing. More like... his presence sort of acts like pollution or radiation or something along those lines on a universal level, just corrupting everything into a version of that place that isn't really inhabitable anymore rather than literally destroying it right away. Not quite the same thing.

Pretty much, yeah. Besides, wasn't it stated in GT that shadow dragons had appeared before and the universe wasn't destroyed?

SSj2 Cell Saga Gohan vs. Future Super Perfect Cell. Would SPC from Trunks timeline would be stronger or weaker then his main timeline counterpart?

Why would he be any different?

I recall that #17 and #18 in Trunks timeline was weaker. I would imagine Cell in Trunks timeline be weaker then the one in Goku's timeline.

Didn't the one in Goku timeline die =/. Also Future Cell should be the same as Future Cell. They come from pretty much the SAME timeline except the Future Cell we saw(Goku's timeline) killed Trunks. The one in Trunks's timeline didn't kill Trunks. Everything else is the same. Now if it was PRESENT Cell(Saying if he didn't die by Krillin) then PRESENT Cell would have gotten dna and info from Future Cell(Super Perfect), Kamicoolo, SSJ2 Vegeta, SSJ2 Gohan, and Boo. But since Boo destroyed Earth  . However if he was brought back(Cause he didn't do harm yet) then Cell would had gotten info from MYSTIC Boo and Vegetto. Hell he might have gotten Beerus, Whis, and Super Saiyan God Goku. Imagine Cell with God energy

If Vegeta let Kenshiro do his pressure points on him, would they work? Saiyan Saga Vegeta.

Something like,

Vegeta: Come on, give me your best shot! Go ahead.
Kenshiro: OMAE WA MOU SHINDEIRU

> 10 seconds later
BOOM
"I have yet to show you, young warrior, what I'm truly capable of." - Cell

#17 & #18 were different because Goku's death obviously made Dr. Gero change his plans, so it seems that he suppressed their powers, made them more evil, and unleashed them in South City, instead of unleashing #19 & himself.

But Cell shouldn't be any different, since Dr. Gero had abandoned him before the timeline split. Plus, the Cell that Gohan killed was Future Cell from Timeline 3, Present Cell from Timeline 1 was killed by Trunks & Kuririn.

Oozaru would increase his power 1/5 that of a full SSJ transformation, after eating that freaky fruit. Freeza doesn't stand a chance.

FPSSJ Goku in the Cell games vs. SSJ2 adult Gohan at the world tournament.

Ssj2 Gohan easily. He wasn't that much weaker. Infact I might say Gohan power dropped to Cell Goku(if they in same form)
