Here's hoping it's a fix where us without PSN can actually get the Mentor costumes, but I doubt it. Gonna be a bit before the download is finished for me to see though, since it's also got the FighterZ patch downloading, as well as a couple of things on my PS3 too.

Except I'm on the Xbox One.

I do have Gold. So, yeah. Access to the Mentor costumes (500 medals a piece!).

Ahh, okay. Was just curious, it seems that on PS4 one has to have Plus to have access to the Gifts section annoyingly enough, was just curious if it was the same way on Xbox One or not where one has to have Gold. Still annoyed by that choice on Dimps/Bandai Namco's part too...

Ok i have a theory. Since Dimps is making this new mobile game and using XV assets this could be a hint at stuff to see in Xv3.

For example, we see Pikkon and Mercanary Tao so i’ll assume they’ll make it into the next game. We also see Kid Goku and Demon King Piccolo so maybe XV3 will finally add some Dragon Ball content into it.

I find it silly how Dimps has always told us "Original Dragon Ball characters can't make it in because they're too weak & they can't fly", yet we see them here...

So how do they justify Hercule, Videl and Great Saiyaman 2 with those criteria?

The real question is how they justify Jaco, who in the manga can only fly in a short burst once a day. In fact, could he technically be considered an original DB character by virtue of Jaco taking place before the Pilaf saga?

Already got some of the new figures and many are so cool and/or useful. With the ones I wanted the most, Janemba and Bardock, I will destroy whatever deck you and the CPU may build.

There are R figures for Cooler (in which he is in fourth form), Janemba, Bojack. So far I only got one R (or SR, can't remember right now) Turles and it seems we can't limit break him.

Besides those ones, there's also:

• Super Saiyan 4 Goku.
• Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta.
• Vegetto.
• Super Saiyan Vegetto.
• Omega Shenron (now I wasn't expecting him to get a figure too).

Too bad the only figures Bardock got was related to his fight against Freeza, I wanted a Super Saiyan Bardock figure and a post-Time Breaker one too.

The update ended up listing 'other adjustments' as well, so I had some hope it was fixing it where I could get access to the mentor costumes, but alas - still requires PS Plus apparently. *sigh*

Whis, Nappa, and Mr. Satan's costumes are all available. Goku's and Gohan's are indeed gone (let's hope they return at a later date for those who missed out).

I got one piece of that stupid golden gi. And it wasn't even the top, it was the boots.

It just had to be 500 medals for a random piece.

Yeah. It's all RNG, so what you get/which part you get is up to luck.

I repeat, you must save scum, when the pop up appears saying what item you got, close the entire game app while the window is still open to be able to re-roll upon restarting.

Took me say 6 times to get the three items of Zenos clothes, saves hours of grinding.

And great, the first day I can use my PS4 again, and the first costumes are already gone? No Rosé Wig for me? UNFAIR! (especially because that Wig was the only thing of interest for me from those costumes)

Sorry to hear that, man.
Hopefully they'll cycle through the costumes again, and you'll get another shot if you missed out the first time around.

If it's any consolation, the wig itself isn't great; it's just a recolored SSJ Goku wig. It doesn't have the ahoge.
But I do hope the gifts eventually cycle through, or become otherwise available at some point. It'd really dumb if they were only available for such a short time, especially after being advertised pretty heavily.

Seems that new update fixed the messed up subtitles in the Extra Pack 2 DLC. Now you can actually tell what the Kaioshin of Time is saying during the ending!
